Chapter 112:I Knew Who She Is
Chapter 112:I Knew Who She Is
What kind of method did the woman use to trick him? Before they were divorced, they were still polite with each other. And now...
Tyrone looked at the feast in front of him, curved his lips, and smiled with a little mockery. "Why don't you believe your son's words but believe the gossip outside?"
"I..." Mrs. Raman choked.
Tyrone picked up the chopsticks on the table again, carelessly picked up something on the table and then put it in his mouth. He said lazily, "It's my business to decide whether to help her or not. Let alone of it! If you still care about the Ramans, don't be too obvious."Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
"Crack!"
Mrs. Raman put down the chopsticks in her hand, and anger showed up on her well-maintained face. "Let it alone? I can't decide now? How could you turn on me just for a divorced woman? Tyrone, do you think I'm too old to think and tell the falsehood others have told me?"
"Why can't you see what kind of person on earth Cathy is? Does she love you? She has been married for three years and never wants to have your kids. You worked so hard every day. Does she ever visit you? Why do you always have a fancy for such a woman who only devotes herself to her career?"
She knew that her son was sometimes stubborn and that once he decided something, he would never change his mind. But she would never allow Cathy to enter the family again.
Tyrone lowered his head and ate the meals, but his eyes darkened. "You don't understand these things. My ability to judge people doesn't need to be taught yet."
Cathy had no idea what work he was working on, and naturally he didn't say anything about it without her asking him.
After Karen spoke to him that day, he thought of it thoroughly and he knew that there still might be something that he hadn't seen through. Even though he had figured out what she was thinking then, but it was just about this period. He had no idea what she was thinking in those past three years.
"You!" Mrs. Raman was dizzy out of anger. She closed her eyes and gasped hard. Then she pushed aside the chopsticks, stood up and said coldly, "I finished. Continue to eat yours." After that, she turned around and went upstairs with rage.
Tyrone's eyes didn't fluctuate. After hearing the sound of the door of the upstairs bedroom being slammed, he took out a piece of paper, wiped his mouth and stood up slowly. "Beth."
"Ah, sir."
"Clean it up and make something to eat for her in the evening. Give me a message after she goes to bed."
"All right." Beth nodded and then asked, "Will you stay here at night?"
"No. I have something else to deal with."
Picking up his coat, the man went out without lingering.
Cathy got up early the next day after a good sleep at night.
The operation the doctor scheduled was in the morning, so she got up early and got prepared.
Matt called her and asked him again and again. Cathy couldn't refuse but told him.
When the man came to the hospital, he saw the pinch on her neck and his face changed instantly.
"What happened to you?" Who did this?"
"There was an accident yesterday. It's all over." Cathy smiled indifferently, then waved to Mila, "Come here."
Mila came up to her while jumping all the way with her short legs.
Cathy pinched her soft little face, gave her a kiss, smiled and asked, "You have become fatter and taller now. Do you miss me?"
Mila blinked her clear eyes and nodded her head.
Matt looked down at the delicate smile on the woman's face. He frowned and his expression became more complicated. Then he said in a deep voice "Cathy, how are you these days?" Although there was no change seemingly, she refused him many times these days and was more decisively than before. He was able to feel it. He was just afraid of her embarrassment and did not want to cause her any trouble, so he held up his feelings and never come recently.
But if he did not take the initiative, the opportunities would never come to him.
Cathy was busy trying to make Mila laugh when she heard his words. She looked up at him, smiled a little, and her tone was still calm. "Good things and bad things are all gone. I'm fine now." "But we are friends and your father is my mentor. I can't just look on without doing any help. You don't have to be too polite to me."
Cathy smiled, her plain face was bright and fresh. "If I choose to be polite, I would be a long time ago. You borrowed more than two million dollars, and that's something which helped me the most. If I bother you again, I'll be guilty. I really owe you too much."
In the last sentence, her expression suddenly became serious, but disappeared in a flash.
Matt stared at her deeply and said nothing more.
As they spoke, Rory came up to her from a distance, nodded to Matt, and then said to her, "Cathy, the police called and said that they wanted you to help them make a record of yesterday." Cathy paused. "Now?"
"Um."
Cathy let Mila go and stood up. "Okay, I'll get prepared and go now."
Matt took over Mila and frowned. "I'll go with you."
Rory said before Cathy could reply, "No trouble, sir. I'll drive her over."
Matt looked at him and frowned slightly.
He didn't know the man, but he had seen so many people that he could see at first glance that he was like a professional bodyguard.
It was simply impossible for her to afford professional bodyguards at this time.
Cathy was embarrassed and then laughed. "Matt, I'll just go by myself. Please take care of everything here for me."
Matt looked back, organized his mood, and nodded quietly, "Okay, you can rest assured, be careful on the way."
Cathy changed her clothes and sat in the car. She took out her cosmetics, rubbed some thin powder on her face, and wore her lipstick. Her complexion suddenly became better, but the scar on her neck was still quite obvious. Though she was afraid the police would ask about it, she did not use concealer to block it.
Rory sat in the driver's seat and drove smoothly. His clear and handsome face was still serious and he did not show any emotion.
Cathy put on some makeup and relaxed a little. Then she said, "You've been helping me these days. I haven't had time to thank you yet."
Rory's froze for a moment, and then smiled slightly. "It's nothing. I am just doing things under my boss's will."
"Your boss, is he Tyrone?"
Tyrone said that his company was relevant to security. Rory said very little these days. And he would do anything he was asked to do. He never asked questions or laughed. He really met the requirements of bodyguards.
Sure enough, bodyguards were cool, that's right.
"No, my boss and Tyrone were friends, Tyrone was the one who asked my boss to send me here. So you should thank Tyrone, but not me. I'm just an ordinary employee of the company."
Cathy pouted her lips. "I should thank your boss but not Tyrone. I would never thank him"
