Skylar gasped, “Joe, you’re still alive!”

However, that one exclamation pulled her dream back into reality. She abruptly opened her

eyes.

As she surveyed her familiar surroundings, the soft glow of the room gently reminded her that it had all been a dream.

Since Joe’s incident, this was the first time in over three years that she dreamt of him. Her heart raced like a drum. This dream felt like a sign.

Joe must still be alive. An inexplicable sense of certainly washed over her. Deep down, she felt she would find Joe.

When she checked her phone, she saw that it was 3:00 a.m. Since she couldn’t fall back asleep, she opened her WhatsApp to check for messages.

Aiken had sent her a message four hours ago, asking if she had time to meet up in the next few days. She replied that she would likely be available in about a week.

After meeting with Natalie tomorrow, she planned to take care of some matters regarding the Ruell family the following day and then visit Hughes Residence.

This would be the perfect opportunity to brainstorm how to uncover the identity of the person behind everything.

Her mind was suddenly flooded with thoughts. Sleep had completely evaded her, so she left her bedroom and headed downstairs for a glass of water.

Sitting on

couch and sipping her water, she gazed at everything in the villa. Before she

knew it, dawn had broken.

Just as she was about to set her phone down and prepare breakfast, she noticed a news headline on her screen.

A founder of a newly emerging tech company was set to visit Jipsburg City in the coming days, and many leading tech companies in the city were eager to seize the opportunity to collaborate.

She remembered hearing about this person recently. Sometimes, she would come across news about him while scrolling through social media. This tech company was established in Murida.

The company’s CEO was known to be quite mysterious. The company had only been established for two years, yet it had emerged as a surprising contender, standing out among many companies and firmly establishing itself in the market. Exclusive content from NôvelDrama.Org.

It was said that the founder was a Clusian. He was very young but also very enigmatic. Hardly

anyone outside the company had ever seen him.

However, he had a fiancée, and the two were very affectionate. Since he hadn’t accepted any visitors and disliked being photographed, there were hardly any photos of him online.

Perhaps because she hadn’t slept well, her mind began to wander. A simple news story made her recall some information she had come across

After finishing breakfast, Natalie arrived at the Galaxy Villa.

This was Natalie’s first visit. As she stepped inside, she looked around in awe.

“This place is huge. Aren’t you scared of living here alone? Do you want to come stay at my place for a while?”

Skylar shook her head. “Not for now, I’m used to this place.”

“That makes sense. You lived here before going abroad.” Natalie didn’t press further. She had an inkling about Skylar’s situation.

Skylar had chosen to stay at Galaxy Villa because of Joe. But after three years had passed, it seemed that Skylar had not moved on.

Everyone knew that Joe couldn’t possibly still be alive, yet it seemed only Skylar believed he

was.

“Why don’t you sit down and relax? Would you like something to drink? I have coffee, smoothies, juice, and yogurt,” Skylar asked as she made her way to the kitchen.

Edgar had stocked the refrigerator and kitchen with everything she could possibly want.

Natalie took a seat. “I’ll go with a smoothie. I gained seven or eight pounds recently. After nearly a month of dieting, I finally lost some weight. I’m starving. Today is my cheat day, I plan to indulge.”

“‘Alright, I’ll make sure you’re satisfied. What do you want for lunch?” Skylar asked with a

smile.

There were many flavors of smoothie at home, so she prepared a cup in Natalie’s favorite flavor. Without a second thought, Natalie responded, “Fondue.”

“Sure.”

Just as Skylar agreed, Natalie’s phone rang.

“They want to borrow the venue for filming? This isn’t the first time someone wants to rent the venue. Just negotiate the price with them… Do they really need to talk to me in person? And they want to rent it for half a month?”

After Skylar approached, Natalie hung up the phone. “Skye, how about trying the coffee from my café?”
