Chapter 105
Chapter 105
Upon saying that, Cheryl sneered and turned around arrogantly. Then, she strode back to her seat in her heels with a sense of satisfaction. Her gaze was filled with an extreme sense of contempt.
Not one of the guests voiced out to reprimand Cheryl. Instead, they were all eager to watch the drama unfold. They looked at Celena, Liam, and Jovie with a mocking gaze and started discussing them.

incredibly gracious to let her attend our family’s dinner. She should just behave herself. Does she think she has the right to our family’s food?”
“Exactly! Who does she think she is? Does think she can do whatever she pleases now that she’s back at the Stone Mansion?”
“How would she know her place? He’s a loser. She’s a b*tch. And they gave birth to a little bastard. What a perfectly matched family!”
“Hahahahaha.”
Anger filled Liam’s heart as he listened to the words of insult. His hands tightened into fists under the table.
He promised Celena earlier on to lay low and stay out of trouble aft reaching the Stone Mansion. If it was not for that promise and for the fact that Celena cared for the Stone family, Liam would have wreaked havoc there. He would have made all of them apologize to Jovie on
their knees.
Since they did not learn from past mistakes, then maybe he should just beat them up. Then, these people would not be behaving so impudently.
Jovie was so happy and wanted to eat the cupcakes, but they were thrown out by Cheryl.
She was already so sensible and mature for her age. That was why she could understand some of what those people were saying.
She immediately pouted her lips sadly, threw herself into Celena’s arms, and started sobbing miserably.
“Mom, I’m not a bastard! I just wanted to have some cupcakes! I don’t want them anymore. I’m not a bastard.”
Jovie wailed dolefully in Celena’s embrace and it broke Celena’s heart. She kept comforting Jovie with tears welling up in her own eyes, “Don’t cry, Jovie. How could you be a bastard? You are Mom and Dad’s sweetheart! Don’t cry, Jovie. I will buy an even better
cupcake for you later, alright?”
Jovie’s sorrowful cries kept ringing in Liam’s ears. His expression hardened with a locked frown, and he could no longer contain the anger he was suppressing. He suddenly stood up and looked toward Cheryl coldly. And in a frosty voice, he said, “Cheryl! Apologize to Jovie, now!”
Cheryl was seated at the main table. After she was called out by Liam, she turned toward him impatiently.
She tilted her head arrogantly and sneered. “Apologize? You expect me to apologize to the little bastard? Liam, stop dreaming! Get it in your head that you’re just a homeless loser, The fact that you’re allowed to dine here with the Stone family is already a huge honor!”
Cheryl started laughing. Her tone was full of disdain as she
continued, “Let’s make one thing clear-this is the Stone Mansion, not the Cole family’s home. You have no place to flaunt your power here! Oh, did you forget that your family was destroyed seven years ago? Listen to me. You’re nothing but a watchdog that the Stone family
feeds, so you better behave!”
Upon saying that, Cheryl covered her red lips and started laughing heartily. The rest who were sitting around her laughed with her. All of them have looks of unconcealable disdain and contempt.
Liam was enraged.
Cheryl’s words, as well as the behavior of the other Stone family members, completely infuriated Liam.
Liam took a step forward. His whole being was filled with the desire for bloodshed. His gaze was engulfed by rage.
His murderous energy stunned all of the Stones who were in the hall. Their faces went pale as a sheet. It was as if a huge invisible hand strangled their necks and locked their throats, rendering them in
silence and suffocation.
