A Gamma's Revenge (Zalia)

Mack's p.o.v.

I watch her eyes as Commander tells her that we have a meeting to get to and I see lust fill her eyes when he promises her that they will have some fun later on. I know that it won't just be Commander, I know Titan and Largo are going to join him.

It doesn't take us long to go through our morning routine and I am surprised to smell breakfast, but when I walk into the kitchen I see my Dad behind the stove. "Goodmorning, Dad. What brings you here this early?" I ask, even though I have a very good hunch about the reason for his visit.

Kay pulls Maleah onto his lap and I sit down on the empty high chair to his left, "Alpha Dominic is going to announce a Pack meeting, he wants to get this over with and with that I mean the attack on Delaney." Dad answers my question and I hear everyone growl softly.

We have just finished our breakfast, when there is a soft knock on the door and as the door opens I see a female that is even shorter than Caspara. "Lily, I have a special assignment for you." Maleah says, just before she hands Lily a file. "I want to know everything there is to know about him, don't leave a stone unturned."

Maleah says.

"On it, Lady Boss." Lily says as she hands the file back to Maleah and the next second she is gone, I even step outside to make sure she isn't standing next to the door.

"Who did you send her after?" Levi asks from the living room and Commander nearly loses his shit when she answers, "I send her after Elder Carlyle."

Harvey and Pauline are the only ones that are not staring at my Mate, with a look that says, has she lost her mind? She is sending a 5"1 tall female after an Elder that holds a lot of power, not to mention that the guy is 6"3 in height. "Lily is the best out of all Maleah's team-members and she even puts Harvey to shame." Pauline says, before she jumps behind Maleah.

Harvey softly growls at his Mate, but it is easy to see that he is only teasing her. "You know that she is right, Harvey." Maleah says as she grabs the files we will discuss with our Alphas today and I slide an arm around her waist, once we are out the door.

We don't bother checking the downstairs office, our Alphas wouldn't want anyone to interrupt this meeting and there for it will be held in their private office on the Alpha floor. Besides our Alphas and our Luna, there is no one else on the Alpha floor and Mack walks into he kitchen to make us all some coffee.

After Dominic has send out a Pack wide mind-link, we sit down to enjoy our coffee. Delaney is in Dillon's arms, while Dax and Dominic try to stay as close to her as they can. From time to time one of them buries their face in her neck, a sign that they are agitated and restless.

A knock on the door makes us all turn around, Dad walks in with Diego right behind him. “Everything is set, Elyse is in the infirmary and they just gave her the sedative." Dad says and we all get up as one.

Our Alphas stop walking at the top of the steps on the front porch, to their left is Nightmare with four Guards around her and on their right is Max but he gets restrained by our Fathers.

The crowd falls silent, the moment they realize that their Alphas and Luna are present and most of them give Nightmare a death glare. Delaney is standing in front of Dominic and Dax is standing on her right side, while Dillon is on her left side.

Maleah has positioned herself between Max and our Alphas, she isn't going to give him a chance to get close to Delaney and try to finish what he started. "We will start this Pack meeting with the accusations against Lola. Despite knowing we have a Mate, she kept telling others that she is the future Luna and she even threatened people with telling her Mate.

I am sick and tired of repeating myself. I would never take a chosen Mate, no matter how long it would have taken to find my fated Mate and the same goes for Dax and Dillon. We made it clear that Delaney is our Mate, she already has our marks and she will become this Pack's Luna." Dominic says.noveldrama

Kay steps forward to take care of the rest, "Step to the right if you think her night in the dungeons was enough punishment. Step to the left if you think she should spend more time in the dungeons and remain in the middle if you think Lola should be banished." He says, before he gives our Pack-members enough time to make a decision.

There are people walking from one side to the other and back again, I know it isn't easy to make a choice. Max never allowed anyone, outside his leadership, to decide on a punishment for another Pack-member and neither did our current Alphas, but that chanced with the arrival of their Luna.

It takes the Pack-members that are present nearly twenty minutes to make up their minds, almost all of them are standing in the middle. Her friends are the ones that are standing to the left and her parents have walked up to their Daughter.

"We know she deserves to be punished and we will accept whatever the Pack decides, but we can't make a decision on the punishment." Her Father says, when Dax asks them about their choice.

"Lola, the Pack has spoken. You are banished from Blood Crescent Pack, you have an hour to pack a bag and leave this territory." Dominic says, before two Warriors guide her away from the Pack-house.

"You will regret this, Dominic. I am going to make you all pay." Lola growls as she gets dragged away.

Max is all smiles at Lola's words and the look she gives him has a shiver running down my spine, "Don't let Lola leave the territory, before we have rendered Max's punishment. Something tells me there is something going on between the two of them and I am not sure what it is." I tell the others through the mind-link.

"Some of you might have heard about your Luna being admitted to the infirmary, we are here to tell you what happened to her and we will start with Doc explaining what her injuries imply." Dillon says, before Doc steps onto the front porch.

Doc goes over each one of her injuries and the more he explains, the angrier our Pack-members become. Everyone understands that this was an attempt on her life, that whoever did this meant to weaken their Alphas and to kill their Luna. The unmated males and females have all shifted and it is a good thing none of them have connected the dots yet.

"SHIFT." Dominic order with a booming voice and other Pack-members quickly hand them some clothes. "I understand that you are furious, but I need you to make a decision. Move to my left if you agree with banishment and move to my right if you agree with death." He doesn't mention who is getting accused of this crime.

"The Pack has spoken and I will honor the wishes of my Pack-members, even if it is with a heavy heart. I hereby sentence you to death, Max Bushlight." Our Alphas

in unison and Max releases a

say mighty roar, before he tries to lunge in their direction. Apparently he forgot for a moment that Maleah is standing in his way and before anyone can blink their eyes, his

lifeless body drops to the ground.

A loud and high pitched No can be heard from the back of the crowd and as the Pack-members move to the side, we see Lola on her knees as she is holding her chest and stomach.
