"I had thought that after all these years, your piano skills would have faded significantly. But to my surprise, they've only diminished slightly," Jemima said, her tene meadded.
"However, as I've always told you, the sound of the piano reflects one's state of mind, yours is no longer as pure and untainted as it once was."
Sierra bit her lip and stayed silent
Jemima studied her downcast expression and sighed softly. “As we grow, experience, and endure more in life, it's inevitable that our state of mind changes. But the piece you played just now carried far more depth and emotion than before."noveldrama
Sierra was taken aback at her response. She slowly lifted her head, her voice Hinged with disbelief and hope. "Ms. Linden"
"I meant that your emotions have matured,” Jemima continued, her expression turning serious. "But your technique clearly shows signs of neglect."
Despite the critique, Sierra's heart soared. The fact that Jemina was commenting on her playing meant she hadn't given up on her entirely.
“You're right, Ms. Linden,” she said quickly, “I'll make sure to practice diligently from now on.' Jemima's gaze sharpened. "Have you truly made up your mind? Do you want to retum to plano?" Sierra nodded resolutely, "Yes, I've made up
mp my mind. As long as you're willing to teach me again, I'll never let you down."

"You've been my student since you were a child, and I low how much hardship you've endured to pursue plano. Through freezing winters, when your fingers were cracked and bleeding, you never once complained.
"You pushed through exhaustion, pain, and tears. And yet, despite all of that dedication, you gave it all up for a man. That's what disappointed me the most.
"Sierra, I don't oppose you falling in love. But someone who truly cares about you would never ask you to abandon your drearms.
"You've always been my proudest student, and what I want most is to see you shine. And I believe that someone who genuinely loves you would want the same.” Her words carried a quiet sincerity that struck deep.
Sierra's eyes filled with tears. Unable to contain herself, she threw her arms around Jemima. "I'in so sorry, Ms. Linden. I was wrong."
Jemima gently patted her back, her once hardened heart softening.
“Recognizing your mistakes and correcting them is the greatest step forward."
Sieme pulled away, wiping her tears. Her face was solemn now, her voice steady. “I promise I will never disappoint you again."
Jerome's expression suddenly feed stilous. "I never said I would teach you again."
Sierra froze. Her heart plummeted, but she reminded herself that it was enough that Jemima was willing to forgive her.
She shouldn't be greedy to hope thur Jemima would teach her again
She said softly, "I understand, Ms. Linden. Just knowing that you've forgiven me is more than I could have hoped for."
After a pause, Jemina said, "The Marisol Cup is coming up. Go sign up. If you can place in the top three, I'll consider teaching you again"
Sema was shocked and looked up, unable to believe her ears.
“What's the matter? Don't want to participate?” Jemima pretended to sold her.
Sierra quiddy shook her head, both surprised and delighted. Her beautiful eyes sparkled with joy. "No, I'm willing! I will definitely work hard and continue being your student, so you can teach me for the rest of my life."
"Then you must put in the effort. There are many excellent students now."
"Please rest assured, Ms. Linden, I will work hard,”
