Alpha Twins And Their Hybrid Mate

Chapter 19

BLACKWOOD PACK HISTORY

Tristan is the heir of the Blackwood pack, getting extensive training and education from a very young age. He and Nathan were always challenging each other to become better, which they did. They have always been the best in the pack and bring out the best in each other. Tristan is set to be the youngest Alpha in the pack's history with Nathan right by his side. But since Trisan is a few minutes older, he is the Alpha. He never wanted to cut his brother out though. He always made sure that Nathan would be there to help him with the pack and be treated as an Alpha, even if it was in name only. Tristan always had plans to expand their pack's territory.

However, those dreams have become illusions ever since he and Nathan were told of the witch's curse.

A witch cursed the Alpha's of the Blackwood pack and the Stoneheart pack after they participated in a witch-hunt. The curse includes the Alpha's of these packs to lose their minds and go berserk after transforming into their wolves every full moon unless they are bonded with their fated mate. For a century, many Alpha's have suffered unimaginable pain and even committed suicide because they never found their mates.

The only way these packs have continued to survive is because they would choose a mate and produce an heir that way. But none have ever found their fated mate. Their mate that's sent to them by the moon Goddess.

When the twins' father realized that their mate wasn't in their pack, they moved to Alaska as a last resort. He didn't want to believe in the prophecy but as time had gone on, he thought that it might be the only thing that would save his son.

The prophecy spoke of a white wolf who could break the curse. Tristan and Nathan first shifted at 16 and for two years Tristan and Nathan endured many painful full moon's until they met Ella.

Knowing immediately that she was their fated mate. They had finally found her. After all these years and all these Alpha's. They were the ones that were going to break the spell. The only problem was, Ella was a human. Not a white wolf.

Tristan's overconfidence in his and his brother's charm, and more importantly his reliance on the mate bond, has prevented him from understanding Ella's resistance against them. He still refused to understand Ella's inner struggles and stubbornly believing she was merely a tool to alleviate their pain during full moon's. He failed to see what it was doing to his mate. But Nathan wasn't as overconfident like Tristan was. He believed that Ella was their fated mate and he wasn't going to treat her anything less of that. She was their Luna. And he was already falling in love with her. While Tristan still acted too nonchalantly towards her.

TRISTAN POV

As soon as we got back home Nathan and I sat in my room with the door closed so our parents couldn't hear us.

"What the hell happened tonight?" Nathan asked, sitting on the chair next to my window.

"I don't know. She knocked Jared out pretty fucking easily." I said. And Nathan looked like he was just as confused. He looked out the window, but I knew that he was thinking about the way Ella reacted when he went near her.

"I know. Where the hell did that come from? She's human." Nathan said, sounding like he wasn't really paying attention.

"You know she's not human. She was raised by humans and her wolf was suppressed. She just doesn't know what she really is." I said.

"After seeing what I saw tonight, I think she's got more power than we could ever imagine." He said. And that must be what it is. She's actually around werewolves now. Maybe her wolf was starting to come out. Maybe her wolf was starting to show itself.

This was really uncharted territory for us, so all we could do was speculate.

"We need to hurry up and do this. We need to bond with Ella. Before the next full moon." I said, getting impatient.

"Are you kidding? We can't rush her. You just said it yourself. She doesn't even know about werewolves. We have to wait until her wolf comes out. Now that she's around other wolves, it shouldn't take too long." Nathan said. Wow, he's already had the same idea as me. I guess that's why he's been so interested in getting to know her. Not just bond with her. He really wants to get close to her.

"Why do you want to wait? Why aren't you interested in stopping this curse?" I asked.

"I am definitely wanting to stop the curse. But think of Ella. She's our mate. Our Luna. She's not mentally ready for this." Nathan snapped. The look on his face showed me just how much he cared about her. I guess he cared more than I did. I was thinking of the curse and he was thinking of her. I just wanted the curse to end before the next full moon. It was coming up soon and I didn't want to go through that pain again.

"I am fed up with the pain of the full moon. The episodes that we have and we can barely remember them the next day. The people that we've already hurt and we could hurt while we're going crazy. If I have to, I'll force her to bond with us if she keeps rejecting us." I declared. Which I fully meant. I would force her if I had to. But Nathan snapped his head up at me and looked at me like I was crazy. Like I had lost my mind.

I know that we're not allowed to forcefully mark our mate, but these are completely different circumstances. I don't care what Nathan says.noveldrama

"Are you insane? You can't force her to do anything like that. It will change her whole world and she will hate us forever if you do that." Nathan said.

"Do you actually want a relationship with her?" I asked, needing to know his exact intentions with Ella. I needed to understand his feelings more so I could know where he was coming from. Even if I didn't agree with it.

"Of course I do. She's our fated mate. The first fated mate that this pack's Alpha has seen in a century." Nathan yelled.

"I want to break the curse." I said.

"And I want to keep our mate safe. Stop being a selfish prick." Nathan yelled at me. He was really serious about this. We never fought about anything, but he was going to fight me on this. I wasn't prepared for it, but I guess I was going to have to get ready for it now.

"I'm not being selfish. I am thinking of you too." I yelled. And out of nowhere Nathan jumped up from the chair and punched me across the face.

"You're only thinking of yourself. I would never force her to do anything." Nathan yelled. And I tackled him to the floor and we both started fully fighting. Trying to punch and kick each other while rolling around on the ground.

My door swung open and mom and dad ran into the room and grabbed one of us each and pulled us apart.

"What the hell has gotten into you two?" Mom asked. And I looked at Nathan. 'Don't tell them about Ella. Not yet.' I mind linked Nathan and he nodded slightly.

"It was just a disagreement." I said. But they both looked at us cautiously. I knew that they didn't believe us, but that's all they were getting out of us right now.

"It's not a full moon so there's no excuse for that kind of behavior. What is this all about?" Dad yelled.

"I told you, it's nothing." I insisted.

"We were just disagreeing on something." Nathan agreed. He was more determined not to tell them about Ella. We can't let them know. Not yet anyway. Especially since she's not a wolf and she wants nothing to do with us.

"Listen to me, the only thing that should be of any importance around here is your mate. Finding her and breaking the curse. I don't want to lose either of you two. Do you understand me?" Dad insisted.

"Dad. That's never going to happen. That's why we moved here. We can't start doubting the prophecy now." Nathan said.

The following morning I got out of bed after not getting much sleep at all and I went to have a shower in my en-suite bathroom and I could sense that something was bothering Nathan.

I could tell that he didn't get any sleep either. But something was really bothering him. I just didn't know what.

After I got dressed I walked out of my room and Nathan was waiting for me outside.

"What the hell is up with you? Your stomach is in knots." I said to him. But he just shook his head, obviously not wanting to talk about what was bugging him. No matter how much it was annoying me.

"It's nothing. Remember what we said last night. We're not saying anything about Ella." Nathan insisted.

"I know. I told you not to say anything." I said.

"For different reasons. You know that dad will not allow you to bond with her by force. I don't want you to do it because it will hurt her." Nathan growled. "Alright. Settle down." I said.

We walked down to the dining room together in silence and mom and dad were already there waiting for us.

When we sat down I saw mom and dad give each other a strange look and we started digging into the food that was placed in the middle of the table.

"So, about that fight last night. Are you sure that it didn't have anything to do with your mate?" Dad asked. Causing Nathan and I to both stop what we were doing. 'Don't you fucking dare say anything'." Nathan growled in my head.

"If we had found our fated mate. Don't you think we would tell you?" I asked. Making that point pretty obvious and letting them think that we weren't lying to them.

"Well, that's unfortunate. There's been an unexpected development." Dad said. And I suddenly got a sinking feeling in my stomach. Whenever he said anything about an unexpected development, it usually meant that it wasn't anything good. "What are you talking about?" I asked.

"We have to meet with Leia's parents to discuss a potential alliance." Dad said. "They're already part of our pack. Why would we need an alliance with them?" Nathan asked.

"Because Leia's parents both come from other packs. And she has relatives that are Alpha's in other packs. They are threatening to leave this pack for another pack where the Alpha wouldn't like us treating their niece like trash." Dad said. "She is trash." Nathan scoffed. And mom choked on her coffee as she was trying not to laugh.
