Billionaire's Pregnant Ex-wife

Chapter 10

Do You Flirt With Just Any Man?

“An unusual coincidence, sir," I replied with a shrug.

"Aren't you curious to know who you look like? She's a member of our family, and we adored her deeply, one of them said quietly, still unable to tear his gaze off my face.

I looked at the man who had just spoken. Squinting my eyes, I surveyed him more closely. He had enchanting, jade-

colored eyes, I thought to myself, unable to look away for a moment.

My curious gaze roamed to see if any of his other brothers shared the same eye color. To my surprise, none of them did, their eye colors differed from one another.

"She was really kind and beautiful. We look at her with respect and reverence," one of them spoke, bringing my wandering thoughts back to the present.

Maybe I looked like their cousin, their sister, or their mother, I thought with a shrug.

Finally succumbing to the urge, I asked them, "Do I look like who?" My voice was so low it was barely audible.

It was the first man who entered the restaurant who answered. "You look like my grandma," he replied rather seriously, and I almost laughed out loud but stopped myself just in time.

Good gracious! I mumbled under my breath, wondering if it was an insult or a compliment. I skimmed their faces and realized they were being truthful. They were not trying to make fun of me, as I had initially th Smiling at

them, I diverted the conversation to the menu on the table. "Please select your order."

Waiting for them to decide, I fished my pen and notepad from the front pocket of my uniform. The flower vase on the table had my undivided attention when suddenly I felt a weight on my shoulder.

Turning my head to the side, I caught my breath when my eyes met Grey's. Immediately, I looked away. There was a murderous glint in his eyes as he looked at me, making

me wonder what I had done to summon such a lethal expression. I pretended to

write something on my notepad. Even with my head down, I could still feel his hot, burning gaze on my back. Returning my attention to the men in front of me, I scribbled their orders on my notepad. Taking theirnoveldrama

When I finally jotted down the last of their orders and confirmed it, I let out a sigh of relief. However, that relief vanished when a hand gently tapped my shoulder. When I looked up, Grey was towering behind me hissed under his breath. It was an order.

Before I could object, Grey walked away, leaving me exasperated by his high-

handedness.

"Your order will be served in ten minutes. Please wait patiently. Thank you." After politely excusing myself, I passed the notes to the kitchen before following Grey into the hallway. I found him leaning against the folded across his chest. When he saw me, he straightened.

"Are you flirting with our customers?" he growled. The scowl on his forehead made his thick eyebrows merge into a straight line.

My lips parted in disbelief. If he hadn't asked for a divorce just

yesterday, I would assume he was jealous. But Grey had

no feelings for me; it was definitely not jealousy he felt right now.

Collecting my scattered wits, I looked him straight in the eye. "No, Mr. Bradford. I'm not," I replied calmly.

Grey snorted. "To

me, you are, Lily. Don't deny it," he hissed under his breath. His eyes seemed to shoot laser beams at me. If looks could maim, I would be on the floor, bleeding.

"Then there's something wrong with your eyesight, Mr. Bradford. I suggest you set an appointment with your ophthalmologist ASAP."

I turned away, but Grey was quick. He grabbed my arm before I could walk away.

"Do you flirt with just any man you see?" he growled, fury emanating from his eyes,

"Do you know what flirting is? It's what you've been doing with Ms. Romani in the dining area!" I blurted, my cheeks reddening with

anger. "Stop barking up the wrong tree or

ourself into a fool."

Still overcome with fury, I pulled my arm away and walked off

The nerve! How dare he accuse me of flirting

when it was obvious he was the one doing it!

"Come back, Lily. I'm not done talking to you," Grey said sternly, following

behind me. But I was still overcome with rage and quickened my pace.

"Go to hell, Grey," I spat furiously without a backward glance, making a beeline straight to the dining area, where I knew he wouldn't make a scene.

The dining area buzzed with customers. I abruptly welcomed the newly arrived guests and ushered them to their seats. All the while, I could feel Grey following my every move. I didn't look in his direction, not e I had just finished

ushering a customer to a table when the hairs on my nape stood on end. Whirling around, I nearly collided with Grey, who was already standing

behind me. “We're not finished, Lily," be whispered close to my ear, sending a shiver down my spine. Before I could bite back a reply, he strode across the room. Within seconds, he was at the door. Natalia hool Shameless! I mumbled under my breath, teeth gritted.
