Bounty Hunter

Bullet hole

Zinnia

Days have passed since I left Reed’s house. Five days to be exact. And that was the exact time I last saw his face. The exact time he last sent me another one of his creepy messages. And if I was being entirely honest with myself, I missed him.

Perhaps he’d return and seen what I had done to his office and decided he wanted nothing to do with me. And that, more than anything, got me upset with him. After doing the unthinkable to have me, he finally backed down after he found out I slashed his office.

Who the hell does that?

“Zinnia, you’re zooming out again,” Alex leaned in and whispered into my ears.

While fucking Reed was going out of his way to ignore me, I reached out to Alex. At least, one good thing happened in his absence.

Thankfully, Alex was quick to forgive, so, we spent the last couple of days bonding and solidifying the foundation of our friendship. No lies. No judgements and no more outbursts. I was more than capable of that. Except, I couldn’t bring myself to tell her that I missed him.

Right now, we are at one of the most luxurious nightclubs in upper east Brookside, as I would like to call it, the city of the privileged. Entry into this club was nothing less than fifteen hundred dollars per person and somehow, Alex managed to get us in here.

The club was currently under renovation. Grayson, the owner, decided it was time for some upgrading. He waited until the dying moment to innovate the club. Another club had opened adjacent to us and that threatened his clientele. The fucking asshole

“You’re doing it again. Come on, Zinnia. We’re supposed to be having fun. We’re supposed to be rubbing our butts against some dicks and if everything works in our favour, we’ll return home with two boy toys.” Alex’s voice was slurry. That was understandable given the amount of booze that was in her system.

“I know, I’m sorry. I just have a hard time picking out who I want to go home with,” I lied, emptying my glass. I made a disgusting face as the liquor burned my chest and Alex laughed.

“Why don’t you go and have some fun?” I added. Alex nodded ecstatically and dragged her drunk, tired body to the dance floor.

I did it again. I lied. I couldn’t tell Alex the truth. That Reed might kill anyone who dares touch me. But then again, maybe he wouldn’t and I just didn’t want another man touching me and wiping off the feel of Reed’s touch on my body.

Because where the bloody fuck was he? He hasn’t shown himself in five whole bloody fucking days!

Alex is right. I should be on that dance floor. Swaying my hips against some man who will most probably take me back to his house, and not thinking about some fucking asshole who ghosted me.This content © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

I made my way to the dance floor, throwing my hands in the air and moving my body to the rhythm of the music. In no time, large arms swirled around my waist, pulling me against them. I wasted no time in whining my waist against his groin, and he got hard every passing second.

“Just like that,” he whispered in my ears, swelling my ego. I turned on my heels and wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him into me, I kissed him.

He was not Reed. I understood that the more I kissed him. He was gentle, that’s for sure, but his kisses were sloppy. I didn’t want gentle. I didn’t want sloppy. I want him to own me, claim me, mark me, just like Reed had done.

“Do you want to get out of here?” he asked when he pulled back from the kiss. I looked at him momentarily, then my eyes darted to Alex. She looked happy, dancing with two men. She was having the time of her life. I guess there was no harm in stepping out for ten minutes to have the time of my life, right?

“Okay. I am down for a quickie, but I can’t leave just yet,” I pointed with my eyes to Alex. The man smiled.

“I don’t want to have a quickie with you. You’re a beautiful woman, and beautiful women deserve the last bit of my attention. Don’t you worry about your friend, she’s in safe hands. They can follow us to my condo,” he convinced.

I debated for a while before nodding.

“Oh God! Alex better be okay.” I think to myself. Before leaving the club, I sent a quick message to Alex, letting her know I was fine and sharing my location with her, just in case.

His car was parked in the back, and as soon as we got in, I pulled his face into mine and kissed him. This time, I took the lead, letting him know exactly what I wanted. Quickly, he caught into it and kissed me back, just how I wanted it.

I undid my seatbelt and straddled him, deepening the kiss. His hands made their way to my breast and I moaned into his mouth. He seized the opportunity to bite my bottom lip, but not hard enough as I wanted.

The strap of my dress rolled over my shoulders. The zipper of my dress came undone soon after, and he freed my breast. He cupped them in his hand and squeezed them hard. I cried out in pleasure and arched my head backwards.

He was not Reed, but he was a fast learner and he had managed to up his game in seconds. When he took my right boobs in his mouth, I moan out loud, and it came out louder than I had expected, making his cock throb against my pussy.

I looked into his eyes and gave him a deviant smile. Just as I was about to lean in for another kiss, a loud bang went off and I gasped. Everything happened in a blur. I looked away for just a second. My eyes landed on a bullet hole against the car window.

Then I was looking back to the lifeless body of the man I was making out with a few seconds ago, crimson dripping out of from the side of his head.

I froze on the spot until his voice tore me out of my state of shock.

“Get out!”
