Chasing My Pregnant Wife



Theodore had a long dream. When he woke up, his whole body ached.

"Theo, you're finally awake." Wesley sighed in relief.

Theodore opened his eyes, feeling not only physical pain but also an intense pain in his chest. As soon as he regained consciousness, he thought of what Rosalie had said to him.

Rosalie was so cruel. Why hadn't he died in that car accident? Why was he still alive?

Seeing his son's dazed eyes, as if he was soulless, Wesley immediately spoke.

"Theo, what's wrong? How could you be so careless when driving? Thankfully, you're alive. You need to rest and recover. Don't worry about the company, I'll take care of it. Your mother still hasn't woken up. If something happened to you, what would I do?"

Theodore barely heard anything Wesley said because his heart was in agony. He even wanted to question Rosalie why she saved him.

Wesley stayed with Theodore for a while longer, but had to leave to attend to company matters. He reminded the bodyguards and nurses to take good care of Theodore before he left.

A few hours later, Cynthia came to visit Theodore. As soon as she entered the room, she started crying.

"Theo, I couldn't sleep when I heard about the accident. Thankfully, you're awake now."

Theodore furrowed his brow, feeling a bit irritated. "Why are you here?"

"After what happened at the wedding, I've been very worried about you. I know you must be in a lot of pain, and you need someone to be with you. If you need me, I'll always be here for you."

Aurora had shown her true colors, and Rosalie and Theodore were divorced. Now was the perfect time for Cynthia to make her move.

Theodore sighed. "I don't need anyone. Please leave."

"Theo, I had a talk with Rosalie."

Theodore was taken aback and turned to her. "When?"

"It was a while ago. I ran into her, and we talked for a bit."

"What did you two have to talk about?" Theodore asked. "You two don't have such a good relationship."

"Theo, we've buried the hatchet. Rosalie and I aren't at odds anymore. And I can tell that she seems to have fallen for someone else."

A trace of frustration flashed across Theodore's face. "Don't talk about her anymore. Leave!"

Cynthia was startled, and tears

instantly fell from her eyes. "Theo, why are you being so harsh with me? I... I haven't done anything to hurt you. Why take your anger out on me? just wanted to keep you company."

She covered her mouth and cried uncontrollably.

"Since you hate me so much, I'll leave. I won't bother you anymore."

She turned to leave, but after taking a few steps, she suddenly stumbled and fell to the ground.

Theodore sat up in bed. "Are you okay?"

Cynthia held her forehead. "I'm fine. I just feel a little dizzy."

"Get in here!" As soon as Theodore spoke, a bodyguard entered.

"Help her up," Theodore said.

The bodyguard stepped forward and helped Cynthia up. Her face looked pale, as if she hadn't had a good night's sleep in a long time. "Cynthia, you should rest."

"Theo..." Cynthia came to his

bedside. "I just want to tell you that

no matter what happens, I'm still here for you. I haven't changed. Even if everyone else in the world lies to you, I won't. We've known each other for so long, and I've never done anything to hurt you. When you asked me to leave back then, I left without causing any trouble. You know that."

Theodore stared at Cynthia blankly. Compared to Aurora, Cynthia was much better. He still felt guilty toward Cynthia. After all, he had

abandoned her at the wedding.
