Chapter 41 Let's Go To My House Tonight
Chapter 41 Let's Go To My House Tonight
I looked at Vaughn, who was not far away. I could clearly see the anger in his eyes, but because
Brandon was there, he didn't dare to say a word.
Only now did I realise that Vaughn was a coward.
Brandon turned to look at Vaughn and walked toward him with his arms around me. He stared at
Vaughn coldly.
"Mr Jarvis, what a coincidence. Why do I always see you pestering my woman?"
Brandon's voice was cold to Vaughn, and there was no expression on his handsome face. For some
reason, I felt a sense of oppression from him.
Vaughn seemed a little nervous the moment he saw Brandon. Now, in the face of his questioning, he
looked even more flustered.
The haughty manner that he had just spoken to me was completely gone, and he looked like a servile
man. I couldn't help but despise Vaughn in my heart. He was so arrogant just now, but now, in front of
Brandon, he didn't dare to say a word. I never thought that he was such a coward.
"Mr Sutton, this is just a misunderstanding. It's just that there are some misunderstandings between me
and her. So I just wanted to talk to her today."
Vaughn looked at Brandon nervously, and what he said made me despise him more. He was clearly
pestering me just now, saying that the person he loved was me. Now that he saw Brandon here, he
dared not say anything. Where was all the courage he used to pester me?
"Vaughn, I have nothing to say to you. Please leave me alone. Now you know that I am Brandon's
woman. Do you still want me to go back to you?"
I broke free from Brandon's arms, walked up to Vaughn, and looked at him angrily. I did not put any
emotion in my words.
As soon as I finished my words, Vaughn looked at Brandon in a panic, and then looked at me again
and said anxiously.
"Hollie, I think you might have misunderstood me. I don't mean that. I just wanted to clear the air
between us. I don't want you to hate me."
Vaughn denied what he had just said. I had expected him to say that. Looking at his nervous face, I
couldn't help sneering in my heart. He really was a despicable man. He was denying what he had just
said, changing his mind like a girl changed clothes!
"Really? Then why did you hug me and not let me go just now? What did you mean by saying that you
love me? Vaughn Jarvis, you're a coward. You don't want to admit what you just said. Do you know that
you disgust me?"
I sneered at Vaughn and looked at him with disdain. Such a man was a coward. I really didn't know
how I was blind to have fallen in love with such a man seven years ago.
Hearing my words, Vaughn's face changed. He looked at me with faint anger in his eyes. But because
Brandon was present, he didn't dare to say a word. After saying what I said, I felt better, and my anger
dissipated.
With Brandon present, no matter what I said, Vaughn would not dare to do anything to me, so I had the
confidence to vent all the resentment buried in my heart for such a long time.
If Brandon wasn't with me, I might have been worried that Vaughn would still pester me. But seeing his
current cowardly look, I dared to say anything because I knew he wouldn't dare to retort.
"Hollie, you really misunderstood me. I'm really not what you said..."
Vaughn looked at Brandon, whose face was getting darker and darker, and his eyes became more and
more anxious.
"Enough, Vaughn, please don't appear in front of me in the future. I have nothing to do with you
anymore. My current man is Brandon. He is so much better than you in every aspect. If you still have
some self-awareness, don't appear in front of me!"
I said coldly, turned around and threw myself into Brandon's arms. I didn't spare Vaughn another
glance.
Vaughn looked at my indifferent expression. He wanted to say something, but when he saw Brandon's
cold face, he did not dare to say anything more.
"Honey, let's go."
I took Brandon's arm and called him an intimate nickname on purpose. I just wanted to make Vaughn
feel wronged in his heart. I wanted him to know that Brandon was far better than him.
"Okay, we'll stay in my place tonight."
Brandon held me tightly in his arms and cooperated with me very well. He leaned against my ear and
said these words ambiguously. His voice was not loud, but I knew that Vaughn could definitely hear it.
I cast a cold glance at Vaughn and allowed Brandon to walk away with me in his arms. When I passed Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
by Vaughn, Brandon suddenly stopped and looked at him with coldness in his eyes.
"Not everyone can pester my woman. Mr. Jarvis, watch yourself!"
After saying these threatening words coldly, Brandon did not even look at Vaughn. He put his arm
around my shoulders and walked straight to his car.
When I passed by Vaughn, I clearly saw the panic in his eyes. He was scared.
After getting in Brandon's car, I let out a long sigh of relief. I was already annoyed having to work
overtime, but Vaughn's appearance tonight was just the cherry on top of the cake. I was really upset
right now. I frowned and looked out of the window.
"Is Vaughn pestering you?"
From the moment we got in the car, I didn't say a word to Brandon. After a long time, he broke the
silence.
"Yes."
I responded faintly, without showing any emotion.
"Do you love him?"
"No. He disgusts me."
I looked at Brandon's side profile and answered his question without any hesitation. Now that I had
seen clearly what kind of man Vaughn was, I was really glad that I didn't marry him.
Hearing my answer, Brandon didn't say anything more, but I could clearly see a shallow smile at the
corner of his mouth.
Brandon's car drove very fast. About ten minutes later, the car arrived at his villa. This was the first time
I came to such a place. Although I had never been here, I knew that this was a famous rich district.
After getting out of the car, I looked at the big villa and marvelled in my heart how rich Brandon was.
Before I could finish looking around, Brandon dragged me straight into his villa.
The luxurious decoration inside made me even more amazed. I looked at the huge crystal chandelier in
the living room. I had seen it in a magazine before. It cost at least hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Rich people really a different life from ours.
Brandon was really a man that everyone envied but also hated!
