Chapter 95~ Whole again
Ryan's heart skipped a beat, a thousand emotions washing over him.
Was he dreaming?
Was the woman in his arms real?
He couldn't believe it...
However, Lora's lips moved against his so passionately, igniting a spark of desire within him.
Although he was taken aback by Lora's actions, Ryan wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer before kicking the door shut.Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
He cupped the back of her head before taking charge and deepening the kiss.
Fireworks exploded and sparks flew around them as they kissed so intensely.
Deep down, Ryan did a happy dance in his heart.
It was real!
Lora kissed him!
It felt so surreal... as if he was living in a fantasy world where Lora could willingly kiss him.
However, the vivid taste of her lips and the thousands of tingles rushing through him brought him back to reality. Lora was in his arms, kissing him like How long had he been longing for a kiss like that? A kiss that could relay one's true feelings.
Ryan pushed Lora gently against the door before pulling away from the kiss. His heart was pounding hard as he searched for something in her eyes. "Lora," he said in his deep velvety voice. "Does this mean you're giving me another chance?"
Lora smiled, looking up into Ryan's gray eyes. A sigh of relief washed over her... the heaviness in her chest instantly disappearing.
Indeed, everything was much better when one stopped fighting their own feelings.
Now that she had made a decision to give Ryan a chance, she felt light and the bitterness in her heart had vanished into thin air.
"I broke up with Jason," Lora replied. "That was why I couldn't meet you earlier."
She was touched when Adan pleaded for his friend and explained Ivy and Ryan's relationship. It was more clear when it came from a third party.
Adan had no reason to lie to Lora and she could see that he was genuinely worried about his friend.
After she broke up with Jason, Lora found herself heading towards the Kingsley mansion.
She wanted to see Ryan and surprise him by telling him about her decision.
However, she found that he had returned to live at his penthouse. So, she had no option but to go there to see him.
The kiss was unplanned but the moment Ryan opened the door and Lora saw that handsome face of his, she couldn't help it.
She took the initiative to kiss him.
When their lips met, Lora felt like she was floating on cloud nine. It felt so good to kiss Ryan with the thoughts of reuniting with him.
Ryan's eyes slightly widened at
Lora's words. He looked into her eyes and asked, "Are you sure? You're from breaking up with Jason? Does that mean you're willing to continue being my wife?"
"Yes, I had to break up with him before-"
Ryan sealed Lora's lips with his, kissing her deeply, yet so gently as though she was a delicate porcelain doll that he didn't want to break.
Lora's heart fluttered at the way Ryan kissed her. So passionately and intense, it made the butterflies in her stomach go wild.
She could feel his emotions through that kiss... he had poured his longing, his desire and his love into it.
I was the first and the last.
He kissed her as though tomorrow would never come, causing electric jolts to rush through her body and soon, she felt a sensation in her nether regions.
How long had it been since she felt that way? It was only Ryan who could ignite the passion buried within her.
His kiss, his touch, his scent... everything about Ryan was so addicting at the moment and Lora ended up losing herself in him.
It couldn't be helped. Lora moaned against Ryan's lips, pushing herself closer to his body.
She wanted to feel his body against hers... to feel his warmth.
In return, Ryan slid his hand under her shirt, caressing her waist softly, leaving tingles in his wake.
"I missed you so much, Lora," Ryan remarked between kisses, his voice husky.
He left Lora's lips and trailed kisses along her neck, making his way down to her collarbone. After a few hot kisses, he recaptured her lips, kissing her like his life depended on it. Sparks continued to fly between them as the whole world seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them.
It was only when Ryan's erect manhood throbbed against Lora that he pulled away from the kiss and placed his forehead against hers.
They were both breathing heavily as they tried to come down from their high.
"I can now breathe, Lora. Thank you for accepting me... I swear, I'll treat you right this time. I know how it feels to lose you. ver want to go through that again," Ryan rasped, his hands cupping Lora's face
He couldn't contain the happiness he was feeling. Lora gave him another chance and he would never take it for granted ever again.
"I know it wasn't easy for you to make this decision. However, I assure you that I'll never, ever hurt you. You're my life, my wife and my all... my oxygen," he added.
Lora's stomach fluttered with butterflies. She didn't know if she had made the right decision but she had followed her heart.
Life was all about taking risks.
What better risk to take than taking the hand of the man whose love she once prayed for?
"Ryan, don't let me down again. I won't be able to take it," she whispered as she clutched his shirt tightly.
Ryan pulled Lora into his arms,
holding her close before saying, "That will never happen. Only a fool would destroy something that was so difficult to obtain. I may not be perfect, but I'll strive every day to make sure I'm the perfect husband for you. I love you, Lora Davis. Thank you for making me whole again."
