Twisted
Verena’s POV
“What the fuck do you want Pike? ” Damon growled in a low and angry tone.
“Alpha wants to talk to you alone…”
I’m still hiding against Damon’s chest, I can hear his calm heartbeat.
“I’m bringing my mate with me, is this some sort of a meeting again? Seriously this is getting annoying.”
“Alright chill, I’m gonna go then. Anyways Davina is here.”
I stayed silent as Pike walked off.
“Who’s Davina?” I asked Damon.
He looked down at me while reaching for my shirt and brassiere, his right hand supported my small back not to fall from his lap.
“The girl from Shadow pack that is promised to be my wife.” He muttered while helping me to put my clothes on.
“You should marry her then… not me.”
I tried my best not sound angry or sarcastic but I failed.
He grinned, “I can taste you anger, so raw and potently acidic.”
“What about disappointments?”
“That, too.”
When I finished wearing my tshirt, I yanked myself off from his lap. He grabbed me by my wrist to stop me, I tensed from his hold.
“If you’re promised to her, the simple logic is to marry her instead of me and I’ll go back to my old life, it’s a win win for the both of us.”
He narrowed his eyes, “None of it will happen,”
“Make me understand,”
“You’re mine, and you’re my mate. Simple as that,” he replied, and there’s no denying that my anger washed off.
“You’re sad huh? Because what, you’ll never be able to escape me?”
I took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly, “It’s likely to be unfair for her.”
His eyes softened, “She already found her mate, and therefore that agreement is simply terminated.”
Nervous, I lifted my gaze to his. “What now?”
A half-grin appeared, stroking my temper. “In no time I will eventually marked you as mine. And once we’re married, I’ll be the alpha and you will be the Luna, meaning you will never have a simple yet big plan of escaping me.”
“You’re so arrogant controlling entity,” I suggested before I could stop myself.
Damon laughed, and I swore the corners of my vision started to turn red. “How fascinating that you forgot the fact that my cousin almost saw you being pleasured.”
I stared at him blandly and smack him on his chest, “Shut up, it’s your fault anyway.”
He grabbed by his side to kiss my temple, this time in a sweet manner. My heart warms.
“When will the wedding happen?” I asked.
“The sooner the better, and once I’m ruled as the alpha I can have the authority under the pack. It that way you’ll be safe, even from my people.”
He held my wrist as we walked through the yard up to his father’s library.
When we enter only the Alpha himself.
“If any of our people knows about the Unknowns last night they will surely do a protest against her being the next Luna,” the Alpha said while his back faces us.
I nibbled on my lower lip as I turned back to Damon in his usual stubborn annoyed face.
“After the wedding, dad, I’ll assure you. Everything will be fine.”
“The best thing to do is already marked her. That will strengthen the bond and accordance to her block, I’ll find a way to talk to a witch about that. Maybe they can help.” He turned to face us. He is not mean, not kind either but for the sake of his only son he assure to do things for him, in a fatherly manner.
My safety is shaky and the voodoo mark will eventually aid it? Even if how much I love how Damon’s lips felt against me it felt very embarrassing to think that they are looking forward for Damon to have sex with me kind of thing.
My cheeks heat up. The two stared at me accordingly, while Damon had this stupid sheepishly grin on his face his father only smiled showing his support.
Confirmed, they’re father and son.
Damon ushered me out of the library.
The hallway is empty as it should be.
“The fifth floor is only accessed by the Alpha. And besides the my father’s library is the masters bedroom, where the Alpha and Luna resides.”
I nodded slowly. I imagined the life of living here. Peaceful, much happier and less danger. Maybe heavens have heard my prayers to give me this kind of life.
“Why do you have your own place?” I turned to him.
“I value my peace of mind, and privacy.”
“And if we get married would we live there or here?” I eyed him.
“Why I’m loving that idea coming from you?”
I rolled my eyes and brushed past against him.
We took the stairs up to the fourth floor with ease.
“And this is were my room is situated.” He
lifted his hand, brushing back his hair that is usually disheveled.
“What about the Beta?” I asked curiously.
“They have their own ancestor house not far away from here.”
My brows lifted, “What if I’ll want my own house build? Am I also allowed?”
“Apparently not, you’re supposed to be at my side all the times,”
“As the Luna?”
To think of the responsibility given to me is so stressful.
“As my lover,” he said nonchalantly.
“Oh I’m not informed that we’re a couple or even lovers,”
The tips of his fingers grazed my cheek, sending a jolt of energy across my skin. Surprised, I lifted my chin as he gathered the curls, tucking them behind my ear.
“I care for you deeply Verena, and it’ll break me to see you hurt. Please, just… I just want to protect you that’s all.” He avoided my gaze.

After the suffer with his dad, we chose to spend the night at his room in the fourth floor.
After washing off I rummage his closet, only finding a piece of unholy nightgown hanging.
From the moment I climbed into bed, I tossed and turned, falling asleep for only a few minutes before jolting awake. Frustrations lingered my system.
Where the heck is Damon?
I rolled onto my back, staring up at the ceiling.
What if being married with Damon will only trapped me here forever. I wander if Linda already have her surgery. I wish it was successful. Will the organization find me. There’s a little bit of hope they will, as if they cared Verena.
I groaned as I shifted onto my side. I wouldn’t be here if I succeeded. I’d probably be destroyed- my sanity perhaps. I’m not used to see people shift into wolves. It creeps me out. I tossed the cover aside, rising as I caught the ridiculously tiny sleeve of the nightgown.
I tugged it up over my shoulder and padded barefoot across the carpeted floor. Grabbing the fur throw off the back of the chaise, I draped it over my shoulders, stepping out onto the balcony and into the silence of the pack. This material belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
I went to the railing, holding the blanket close as a rare breeze lifted loose strands of hair, tossing them across my face.
“Can’t sleep?”
I gasped, whirling toward the sound of Damon’s voice coming from the back. His hair is a mess but undeniably attractive. The button of his loose long white long sleeves are unbutton revealing his chest. His sweaty but he looks sexy as hell.
My heart thumped even harder while the strangest urge to dash back inside and throw myself under the covers hit me.
Somehow, I managed not to do that. “What happened?” I said finally and then flushed, from variety of unknown reasons.
“Some rouges attacked the guards.” He said, sitting on the edge of the bed.
I tensed, “God, are they okay though?”
“Whose they?” He asked, annoyed.
“The guards obviously.”
“You asked about the guards, what about me?”
I avoided his heated gaze. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine, but Damien is injured, the fucker took the blow instead of that dumb Lucas.”
He continued, “But he is now being attended by the pack doctor. Don’t worry we’re safe.”
“Are you sure you’re okay?”
He turned his back and ignored my question, he caught the towel lying on the vanity to clean his hands.
I lifted a shoulder. He was quiet and then said, “Are you concerned?”
A tripping sensation invaded my chest. “Yes,” I muttered quietly, shocked with my own confession.
“You don’t sound too confident with your answer,” he said, and I heard the smile in his voice.
“No, I am confident with my answer. I’m just…shy to even admit it,” I said.
“Why?”
I resisted the urge to press my hand to my cheeks and see if they felt as hot as I thought they did. “I guess because of my ego?”
“Interesting,” as he sat in the bed.
“More interesting when you didn’t even tell me that you’re off to fight insolent rouges.”
“Are you angry?”
“I don’t know what I feel,”
“Or frustrated…” he trailed off.
“I refuse to tell,”
He barked a laughter that brought me to a smile.
“You’re a very bad… bad idea.” There’s shadows in his voice.
“Then why keep me? If I could only bring harm to you and your pack.”
“I guess, I’m somehow addicted of the idea,”
My brows furrowed, idea of what?
“Idea of you, in my bed, everyday. Legs wide open for me to dig in when I open my eyes in the morning.” He continued.
My heart swells from excitement, I fear my own thoughts.
“T-that’s twisted,” I stuttered, shit it’ll just give him the hint.
“I’m twisted Kinzhe.” He exhaled slowly.
I sucked in a shaky breath as he started undoing his shirt.
Without much thought or motivation, I found my way to his lips.
I kissed him, and his lips parted immediately, letting me in. He tasted of smoky whiskey and the coldest hour of night. I felt him tremble as I placed a hand on his chest. I moved again, sliding my hands to his shoulders and climbing into his lap. The feel of his skin through the thin night rail was an icy-hot shock to my senses. He shuddered as he delved his hand into my hair. I leaned into him, guiding him so he was on his back.
I kissed him, letting myself get a little lost in the feel of his lips, the flavor of his mouth, and the press of the thick hardness against my belly, letting myself enjoy all the sensations. To just exist in how carefully he wove his fingers through my curls, the soft touch of his hand against my back, and the deep groan he let loose when I lifted my mouth from his.
I followed the line of his neck with my lips and tongue, pleased when his head fell back against the soft mattress of the bed.
Back bowing, I tasted the skin of his chest, traced the defined lines of his stomach. Every part of me was aware of how each kiss, every graze of my fingers that followed my mouth, drew a quicker breath from him, a tremor. I kept going, my lips dancing around his navel and lower as I slid down his body. The tips of my breasts brushed over his rigid length, causing his body to jerk, and mine to clench. I settled between his legs, nipping at his skin above his waistband. My fingers slid over his sides to his hips and then to the band of his pants.
“What are you planning?” Damon asked, his voice deeper and full of shadows.
“Nothing.” I trailed a line of kisses, finding the ink that flowed over his hips.
His fingers drifted through my hair, gathering the strands back from my face. “This not seems like nothing Kinzhe.”
“I was just… exploring.”
I lifted my head, and my breath caught. His entire body was taut with tension. The muscles of his stomach and chest, his neck and jaw. His skin had thinned, showing a hint of shadow underneath. as he stared down at me. “You,” I whispered, heart thumping fast. “I can stop if that’s what you want.”
