EPILOGUE
“I’ll clean your closet, love. I’ll remove the unimportant things. Is it ok?” Maggie asks my permission before opening my closet.
“Go on.” That is also one of the reasons why I loved her more. She always asks my permission before touching my things. She always gives me privacy.
“I will prepare the things that you will need tomorrow at the baptism of triplets.”
“Feel free.” Phoenix triplets are four months old now. I’m already jealous of Phoenix, so later I’ll talk to Maggie if she’s ready for us to have children. Honestly, Hailey is pregnant again to their second pregnancy for a month now. Phoenix wanted to have a lot of children.
“Blaze,” she called and looked at me.
“Ye–?” I cannot finish what I am going to say when I saw her holding something.
A dried flower, lipstick, and a card. Holy shit, why is that still in my belongings?

“Boring,” I whisper while looking at the people here in the park. Why is it that I even thought of coming here, I’m not doing anything. Today is my last day in the Philippines. Tomorrow I will go to the USA because there I will study high school and I am with my three friends but not Dane. I’m gonna miss this place anyway.
I was leaving when I heard someone cry behind the tree. When I sneak, I saw a girl wearing a uniform. I think she is two to three years younger than me. Her beautiful hair covered her face but it can’t be denied that she’s beautiful based on her side views.
Honestly, I don’t care about her but I feel sorry for her because she doesn’t have a wipe on her tears and cold. Is her boyfriend broke up with her?
Why did I say that? Because she’s holding a rose with a card. Well, she’s young and I guess she’s like 10 or 11 years old. But who knows, same at her age had already flings nowadays. Her fling is stupid if it’s true in my mind. She’s beautiful to waste.
I approached her and handed her my handkerchief. She was just looking at my hand holding a handkerchief.
“Take it, it’s new.” She took it from my hand and wiped her face.
“Thanks.”
“Would you mind if I join you?” I am not interested in any girl. I never approach even once. Because I am young, I am still twelve. I do appreciate some of my classmates but not to the point that I came to them and talk. Dane is the only girl I talk to. But this girl, I don’t know but something on her I can’t resist.
“Sure.” I sat beside her when she gives me her permission.
“Stop crying. You’re beautiful.”
“My dad left us and I don’t why. I wanted to give him this flower and card but he left.” She cried again. Ow, so not because of the bf? Something inside of me feels happy. Am I that weird if I am going to say that I feel I am lucky and I don’t know why?
I stunt when she leans her head on my shoulder. I smell the fragrance of her hair. The scent of her young body. And I feel an indescribable feeling in my stomach. What’s wrong with me?
“I am alone,” she said while sobbing.
“No your not, you have me.”
“Really?” She look at me and our gaze met. I was mesmerized by her eyes. She’s young but I am sure when she grows up she will be the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen.
“Y-yeah.”
She took something from her bag. A lipstick and a pen. She write something on the card put lipstick on her lips then she kiss the card.
“For you.” She gives me the card, flowers, and lipstick.
“Huh?”
“For you, because for a little bit of time you make me stop crying and you comforted me.” I took them from her. The card has a message ‘Thank you so much, strangers. -M ‘
“M?” She nods and stands.
“Thank you so much for making me happy.” My eyes widened when she kiss me —- on my lips.
My first kiss.
I hold my lips while looking at her running away and waving her hands.
“See you tomorrow, love!”
“Wait!” But she did not listen until she disappeared completely. “I’m leaving, tomorrow,” I whisper.
Since that day, I keep longing for her smell. The fragrance of her hair still keeps haunting me. That was the first and last time I saw her because the next morning was my flight. I came back there before I went to the airport. I waited for her but I did not see her. I don’t want to leave that day but I have no choice. Every vacation, I came to that place but I haven’t seen her yet.
–
“Maggie, wait.” Maggie did not talk and get up quickly. “Mag, let me explain. That was fourteen years ago.” Why didn’t I throw it away when she became my wife. I did not hope to see that girl again. I still remember her but only to wish her happiness. Hopefully, where she is now I hope she is happy and she has found the true love that she deserves to be called LOVE. Just like me.
Maggie stands and goes to her closet. She took some of her belongings without saying anything. Will she leave me?
“Love, please talk to me.” But still, she did not talk. “Love, please let —-” I stop and look at her hand. She’s holding a white hanky.
“It’s you?” she asked.
“It’s you?” I asked also. Is she that woman in the park? The girl that stole a kiss from me and called me love. My first kiss. The scent that I’ve been longing for.
Maggie jumps and hugged me tightly. “I love you so much, Blaze.” She hugs me tighter.
“I love you more, Mag.”
“I came back the next day, but I didn’t see you. I wait for you the whole night.”
“I am sorry, that day was my flight to the US, but I came there to find you but I did not see you.”
She removes her hug and cupped my face.
“We’re destined to meet again, and it’s worth the wait, Blaze.”
“My first woman, my first kiss. Who’s think I’d married twice the woman I’ve been waiting to see.”
“And I also married the man I stole a kiss because I like him.”
“Really? you like me even before?”
“Yeah, that’s why I ran, because I was ashamed of what I did. But I didn’t regret it because I kissed my first crush.” I don’t know what to say. All I know is I am goddamn lucky.
“I am so damn in love with you, Maggie, I will love you forever.”
“We love you, too.”
“We?” I wondered.
“Yes, we.” She took my hand and put it in her stomach. “Baby and I love you too, daddy. There’s a six weeks twat-twat inside me.” I did not react. My system still accepts what he said. “Hey!”
“Daddy? Me, I’m going to be a daddy?”
“Oh come on!”
“Maggie, really?”
“Yeah, probably. Every day, every night we have sex what do you expect, the neighbor’s dog gets pregnant?”
“Daddy?” I said like crazy laughing. “I’m going to be a daddy? I’m going to be a daddy! Yes!”
“Hey!” He slapped me on the shoulder because I suddenly jumped and punched in the wind.
I picked up Maggie and turned around then kissed her. “I am going to be a dad. Maggie, I will be a dad.”
“Yeah,”
“Thanks, Mag, thanks for making me happy. I am so happy right now. I can’t fucking explain my fucking feeling but I am happy.”
“Not obvious.” She teases me. “Thank you for giving me a family, Blaze, I mean aside from Margot, of course, and thank you for loving me.” She kisses me and I kiss her passionately. I will promise to protect them. They are always first on my list no matter what.
“I love you, Maggie.”
“We love you too, Blaze.”
I have nothing more to ask for in my life. I just feel like I have everything I need with Maggie. Now there is a plus one. They will be my strength, and I have no right to be weak. I will do everything for them. For my wife, for my future kid. For my Family.
I will love them all especially my psycho wife who drives me crazy with everything but I love her so much. With her, my life is so fucking perfect.
