Chapter 9 Send Her to Prison!
After the workers going through her stuff had left, the former brilliant villa was ruined, and even the
doors made of pear blossom wood had been taken. NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
An elderly maid dragging a box limped into the house. There were some clothes and expensive jewelry
in the box, “Miss, when they came, I packed all the things you like.”
Seeing the maid’s leg, Clara Rowan knew that those people had also attacked her. Her eyes were red
“Mae......”
Mae was a servant originally employed by her mother. She had grown up with her.
Mae was afraid that those people would come back, and so had Clara drive them to her old home. It
had two bedrooms and she offered an exceptionally clean room for Clara to use.
“Your mother made the down payment for this house for me when I first started working for her... It’s a
pity that she......”
A sad smile appeared on Clara’s face at those words.
See, even a servant knows how to repay gratitude. And yet, she had helped Ruby Leke so much, and
yet only to be bitten by her!
Clara put away her parents’ soul tablets.
Besides a few pieces of jewelry left behind after her mother’s death, she gave the rest to Mae. “Mae I
am leaving my parents’ spirit tablets temporarily with you. I still have something to do.”
Mae said, “I heard your grandmother isn’t in good health. Why don’t I go to the hospital and take care
of her?”
“My grandmother has a nurse to take care of her. Your legs are not good so you should rest at home.”
After saying goodbye to Mae, Clara drove back to the hospital.
She was lost in thought as she drove the car.
Now that she had nothing, how was she going to seek revenge? How was she going to take back
ARCTIC?
The silhouette of a man suddenly appeared in her mind.
Clara quickly shook her head to disperse thoughts of that man. She wanted to first go to the hospital to
see her grandma, before thinking of other possibilities.
At this time, a Bentley passed her.
The back window was partially lowered, and the people in the car flashed in front of her.
That was Steve Lane!
Clara stepped on the accelerator and chased the Bentley in front of her. Her eyes were full of hatred
when she thought of Steve’s cruelty and the scenes of her parents’ spirit tablets being thrown to the
ground.
This was a good chance to do it.
If she could take revenge for her parents by crashing into and killing Steve now, she wouldn’t have to
beg the man, and could keep that little bit of her dignity.
The Bentley changed lanes several times in front of her and she almost lost track of it.
After catching up with the Bentley again, a cruel smile appeared in the corner of her mouth. She
stepped on the accelerator and crashed directly into it!
The black Bentley was sent flying. It rolled a few times and then settled upside down.
However, the impact caused her to lose control the steering wheel, and her car crashed against the
protective railing and flipped over. Her head was bleeding, and her body was covered in glass
punctures.
She gasped and looked at the Bentley on fire not far away with a smile of relief.
She had finally avenged her parents!
However, before she could relax, she saw Steve walking to the driver’s seat. She was shocked to see
his suit unwrinkled.
“Clara, we’ve lived together for 20 years. I know your temperament the best. I saw you catch up long
ago, so I called for someone to come with another car and changed cars during a red light.”
“Steve.......” Clara bit her lips hard and fainted before she could finish.
Steve looked at her in the car with her covered in blood in the car, and with her face deathly paled. He
remembered the way she used to call him brother, and his cold eyes softened a bit.
Just as he was about to reach out his hand, he heard the wailing sound of an ambulance approaching.
It arrived and the doctors and nurses got out.
Why did the ambulance come so fast?
Seeing the medical staff coming, Steve no longer thought kindly of her. He went to the Bentley on the
side of the road and coldly ordered: “Call the police! Tell them that Clara Rowan made a failed attempt
of murder. Send her to prison! “
Soon, Ruby Leke, who was with their son at home, received a phone call saying that Clara Rowan had
tried to kill Steve Lane by crashing into him, but had been sent to the hospital by him.
Ruby was incredibly happy to hear this.
The last time Clara had come to the villa to make trouble, their son had accidentally fell and had slept
for a day, scaring her.
Ruby said hatefully, “Arrange for two people to go in and take good care of her!”
Who had let Clara take the initiative to talk to her while in university, take her out to travel, buy her
various clothes, bags, and let her know that the world was not equal?
The fault lay in Clara’s stupidity. She couldn’t judge people.
She was going to let her go but, but then who let Clara almost kill her son. She couldn’t forgive her
anymore.
