Chapter 90 You Are in No Position to Judge
Chapter 90 You Are in No Position to Judge
"It's none of your business, Eva," Eva told herself in mind and refrained herself from think that.
Caleb drove to his company after Eva left and when Esther arrived at Rosenfeld Hill, she had just
missed Caleb.
The last time she found Caleb here, she was driven away by Caleb soon. To make it worse, Caleb's
attitude towards the woman she met that day was quite different. That's why she would come here to
find Caleb in the morning. But now she failed to meet Caleb.
Eva spent the whole morning absent-mindedly and she didn't even respond to the director when he
called her.
"What happened to you?" Adam's voice scared Eva and she turned back.
"You scared me, Adam!" Eva rolled her eyes back as she saw it was Adam McCallum.
"It's just because you were not with us," Adam stared at Eva smilingly. He would ask her because he
saw how weird she was the whole day.
"That's nothing," Eva hid his emotion from her and smiled at Adam.
Noticing the forced smile on her face, Adam put on a sincere face and said, "You can tell me whatever
you are worried about. Maybe I can help."
"Nothing. I'm just wondering something, sorry," Eva said apologetically, "Let's go. It's our part now."
It was an intimate scene between them. Eva quickly got into her role, a girl completely different to who
she was a few minutes ago. And that's why Adam admired her. She was born for acting.
Though they were rumored to have an affair with each other, they didn't feel embarrassed in this part.
Gregory Underwood was happy to see how well she played her role as a girl who was deep in love with
Adam but yet to be his girlfriend. As she was such a good actor, he might be able to finish the filming
before the scheduled time.
"Cut!"
"Okay, we may finish here."
It was a modern series so they changed their clothes quickly and got out of the shooting site together.
Adam kept telling jokes to Eva to make her feel happier. Then he noticed something on Eva's hair then
she helped her to get it off...
Caleb, who got here to wait for Eva as soon as he was off duty, saw how intimate Eva was with Adam.
Adam was even "stroking" her head affectionately. They looked really like a couple and Eva was
smiling happily.
Her smile was quite uncomfortable for Caleb to see as if it was a foreign body in his eye.
Adam's jokes made Eva laugh happily but when she looked upwards, she found she was before
Caleb's Rolls-Royce. Caleb was leaning on his car and staring at her. Then her smile faded away
quickly and she began to feel quite nervous.
Caleb walked over to Eva step by step.
"Let's go home." Caleb simply ignored Adam, and said to Eva.
Eva stared at Caleb, whose face was quite dark, and felt quite confused. She should be the one who
got angry.
Adam didn't care much about Caleb's attitude since he had got used to it, "It's very kind of you to pick
up Eva yourself, Mr. Livingstone."
Adam had seen the cautiousness in his uncle's eyes. He knew he would envy him just because he was
now with Eva.
"If you get some time, spend more time with your mother," Caleb said in an indifferent voice.
Seemingly, he didn't care about his cousin much. Then he didn't leave any time for Eva to say goodbye
to Adam but took her onto his car.
Adam stared the back of the car and fall into silence.
On the other hand, the Rolls-Royce was also reigned by silence.
Eva didn't understand why Caleb would go that angry. she even felt like getting off the car and rushing
back to her home alone.
"Don't get close to Adam McCallum anymore." Caleb's voice rose in the car suddenly and that scared
Eva.
"Why? And who are you to ask me to do that?" Eva was irritated by his impolite order.
"For no reason."
"Then why could you take Esther back to your home and why shouldn't I be with Adam?" Eva thought
of Esther again and she felt Caleb's order was quite unfair.
"It's not what you think."
"Then who is she? Now you are asking me not to believe my own eyes?"
Caleb knew he couldn't explain to her in one or two words so he chose to remain silent.
The silence of Caleb made the doubt in Eva's mind all the stronger and she twitched her mouth with
concern.
Then silence fell on them again.
What Eva couldn't stand was that someone was trying to control her. But now Caleb often made some
orders to her and now she was even deprived of the right to make friends with others. Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
And how did Adam irritate him? He was a good actor with a good character and he was also of a
prominent background. Why shouldn't she make friends with such a good man?
Eva felt quite wronged and angry then she looked beyond the window without paying any attention to
Caleb anymore.
Then they remained silent inside the car throughout the way back home.
Meanwhile, there was also an uninvited guest in Rosenfeld Hill.
The moment Eva got into the living room, she sensed the smell of perfume. Then she heard someone
was calling Caleb's name in an affected voice.
Esther saw Caleb and run over to him and then took his arms in her arms.
Seeing Eva who was standing behind Caleb, Esther frowned and said, "Why are you so late, Caleb?
I've been waiting here for you for a long time. And who is the woman beside you? She seems to be
around you all the time."
Esther took Caleb's arm in arms and kept acting coquettishly.
Eva heard Esther's voice and rubbed her arms as her words had made her gooseflesh all over. Then
she walked upstairs to avoid her.
"Hey, you, stop."
Eva just wanted some quiet space, but someone was just trying to disrupt her.
Esther noticed how Eva ignored her and felt quite angry. Then she called Eva to stop.
She came here not only to meet Caleb but also to check who Eva was. She must know her background
and what she wished was to drive her out of this house.
"You have something to tell me?" Eva stopped and her face turned dark.
