Stephanie looked at him suspiciously and said. “That can’t be anything good.”

Vincent replied. “You can go home and rest. I’ll pick you up around six

Stephanie shook her head. “I don’t want to go home. I’ll accompany you here. You work and I’ll sketch.

He conceded, “Alright, as long as you don’t find it boring”

Stephanie replied. “Of course not. No matter where, it won’t be boring as long as you’re by my side.”

Vincent held her chin and kissed her lips.

Zane entered the room just to see that scene.

Vincent, who used to be abstinent and cold, was like a big scheming dog now in front of Stephanie, clinging to her and waiting for her pets,

Zane hurriedly left. He figured Vincent’s lunch would be something different today.

Vincent carried Stephanie into the lounge and gently placed her on the bed. He took off her boots and covered her with a quilt “Sleep for a while. You can draw when you wake up.”

Stephanie was quite sleepy as she had been busy making gowns these days. She nodded and closed her eyes, falling asleep

soon after.

Vincent sat by the bed and looked at her for a long time. He leaned over to kiss her on the forehead and tucked in her quilt before leaving.

Sitting at his desk, Vincent pressed the intercom button. “Come in.

Zane walked in immediately, wiping the corners of his mouth.

Vincent tapped both the armrests. “Is my lunch good?”

Zane snorted, “It’s good. I figured you might be full.”

Vincent said, “You figure quite well.

Zane fell speechless.

Vincent lowered his voice and asked, “How are the preparations for tonight?”

Zane nodded slightly. “Everything’s ready. Just waiting for the evening.”

Vincent nodded with satisfaction, picked up the documents, and continued to review them. “Get out and continue eating. Zane replied. Thank you, Mr. Fletcher.”

When Stephanie opened her eyes, the room was dark. Dim lights shone through the narrow gaps between the curtains. It was already dark outside

She turned over listlessly and felt a little sleepy. She thought she could draw in the afternoon but she slept for so long. Stephanie closed her eyes again. The pillow smelt like Vincent, clean and refreshing.

The door of the lounge gently opened, and a beam of light shone in before it went dark again.

Vincent’s footsteps were light as if he was afraid to disturb her

Stephanie squinted a little and watched as the figure slowly sat on the edge of the bed and crawled under the quilt.

Vincent pulled her into his arms and kissed her hair. His hands also began to wander and slid under her sweater.

He asked, Babe, your heart is beating so fast. You sure you’re asleep?”

Stephanie held back her laugh and continued to play dead.

Vincent’s fingers trailed along her smooth waist into the edge of her jeans.

Stephanie grabbed his wrist. “Stop it!”

“Awake?” Vincent chuckled. Then why were you pretending to be asleep?

Stephanie snuggled into his arms “Because I’m really sleepy. What’s the time now?

He replied. “It’s six. You’re right to get more sleep”

Stephanie looked up at him confused.

Vincent chuckled. “You’ll be tired tonight”

Stephane fell speechless.

Vincent drove Stephanie to the seaside.

They held hands and walked along the beach, listening to the waves.

The winter in Jacaster wasn’t as cold as that in the north, so the sea wouldn’t freeze.

Not many people went to the sea during this season, especially at this time. Nôvel(D)rama.Org's content.

There was a street lamp every 55 yards on the bridge along the coastline. The dim lights added warmth to this winter night

yellow lights on.

Vincent put his arm around her shoulders and pointed to a three–story mansion not far away with warm ye “Stephie, look over there.”

Stephanie looked in the direction of his finger. The lights of the mansion went out and fireworks bloomed, lighting up the night sky.

The dazzling fireworks lit up Stephanie’s beautiful face. Everything returned to calm as the last firework faded.

Just as Stephanie thought the romance was over, several auroras appeared in the sky. It crossed through the stars and shone brightly through the pale moonlight.

Stephanie looked at the scene in amazement and found herself in the winding aurora.

She was pleasantly surprised and said, “Vincent, this is so beautiful!”

Vincent turned to her and knelt on one knee. “Stephie, although we’ve gotten our marriage license, I still owe you a proposal and a wedding. I want to make up for the proposal today. Will you marry me, Stephie?”

Stephanie pursed her lips and said, “Yes, of course I will:

He took out the ring and looked up at his beloved “Can I put the ring on for you?”

Stephanie replied. “Yes”

Vincent put the ring on Stephanie’s left ring finger and kissed it softly.

He slowly stood up and cupped her face in both hands. “Stephie, I love you

Stephanie replied, “I love you too, Vincent”

Vincent’s lips pressed against her rosy ones. This kiss was extremely passionate. Stephanie felt if it weren’t for Vincent holding her up, she definitely wouldn’t be able to stand steadily.

“Are you hungry?” His magnetic voice sounded in her ears.

Stephanie’s eyelashes fluttered as she asked, “Should I say I’m hungry or not?

Vincent asked, “Thinking about something inappropriate again?”

Stephanie bit her lower lip angrily. “Don’t spout nonsense!”

Vincent said, “Okay. So are you hungry or not?”

Stephanie snorted, “Of course I’m hungry.”

Vincent picked her up bridal style as Stephanie exclaimed. “What are you doing? I can walk by myself.”

He replied, “Save your strength. You’re exercising tonight.”

Stephanie was dumbfounded.

Vincent took Stephanie to the mansion. The warm yellow lights illuminated the interior, and the decorations were surprisingly cute and girly.

“Like it?” He put Stephanie down.

Stephanie looked around. This isn’t your style, though?”

Vincent answered, “Yeah, it’s meant for you.

Stephanie was stunned and her hands curled up unconsciously. Then she heard him say, “My girl should have a girlish heart. Just because you never had it doesn’t mean you can’t have it now

Vincent held her hand and led her upstairs. The stairs and even the handrails were all pink.

Vincent opened the door and led Stephanie in.

The walls, carpet, dressing table, curtains, and even bedding were all pale pink.

There were many dolls at the head of the bed, making it a pure princess room.

Vincent hugged her from behind. Like it?”

Stephanie replied, “I like it.”

It was something Stephanie had never dared to expect in her childhood. For her, even a doll was an extravagance, let alone a princess room.

That desire also gradually faded as she grew up.

She didn’t think Vincent would actually build her a princess room after hearing about her childhood that night.

Most importantly, he gave her an aurora proposal. It was very special and romantic.

Although it was just a ceremony, she was happy.

She turned around and solemnly said, “Vincent, thank you.

He replied, “You’re my princess. I’ll be your knight”

Stephanie wrapped her arms around Vincent’s neck and led him backward step by step. When her heel hit the edge of the bed, she switched positions and pushed him onto the bed. She sat astride his waist.

Vincent held her slender waist with both hands. “Stephie, aren’t you hungry?”

Stephanie took off her coat and threw it on the ground. “I’m hungry. That’s why I plan to eat you first.”

She leaned over and whispered in his ear, “I won’t be your princess tonight.”

Vincent asked, “Then what?”

Stephanie uttered word by word. “I want to be your queen.”

Vincent gulped. “Then I’ll be your loyal subject.
