Mated To My Childhood Bully

Rejecting Him

Axel held her back from running quickly and moved in front of her.

“You have to shift back into human now!” He said to her but Hazel let out a low growl in protest to that.

She had finally gotten the wolf side that she had wanted for so long and he was wanting her to shift back into human so soon.

“Shift back! Right now!” His eyes blazed red and Hazel immediately shifted back to her human side, not being able to resist the words of the true Alpha.

She fell to the grassy floor as she shifted back into her human form. She made no attempt to get up from the floor as she was way too tired from the bone breaking to do so.

Axel immediately got beside her on the floor and pulled her up to sit down on the grass.

“Pretty head”

“What?” she asked, barely strong enough to even put on a protest against his hold on her.

She looked at his face and that was when she noticed that he had a worried look on his face.

Axel dreaded that look on his face. She might not be on good terms with but she knew every look of his and the look right now was a sign that something was wrong.

“What is wrong?” Her voice trembled a bit.

Axel sighed and held her by the shoulders.

“Hazel, no one should know about you getting your wolf side” he spoke so seriously.

“What? Why?” Hazel asked him. she was already imagining herself walking in the midst of others in her wolf form proudly and here he was telling that she could not do that.

“Because you are not allowed to!”

Axel did not want to tell her the truth about herself. Axel knew how white wolves were treated and he knew how bad Hazel would feel to find out that she was a white wolf.

This was a secret and he had to make sure he kept it a secret for as long as he could to protect Hazel from herself and from others.

“Because I am not allowed to?” Hazel picked her words.

“Who are you to tell me that I am not allowed to show off my wolf side?! Who are you to tell me that I have to hide something so good? Who do you think you are in my life?”

She could not understand him or his reasons for such a bizarre request.

He had looked happy at first to see her wolf side, he had looked happier to find out that she was his mate but so suddenly, he wanted her to hide her wolf from everyone.

He was asking her to keep her wolf side in check!

“Why? You can’t just tell me I am not allowed to show my wolf side to others!”

“Hazel, listen to me this time. Do not show your wolf side to others, at least for now. You have to keep your wolf side hidden for your own safety….”All content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Hazel’s brows raised.

“Why? What’s wrong? Is there something wrong with my wolf side that you are not telling me? Did the moon goddess make me a bad wolf? Is there something missing on me? Why does….”

“Hazel!” He called out her name.

“Remain calm but do not show your wolf side to anyone. You know everything I do is to protect you, pretty head. Trust me this time and promise me you will keep your wolf side a secret from everyone”

“No.” She muttered and got up from the floor.

“I won’t trust you because I do not want to. Also…” She braved herself up for rejecting her mate.

“I, Hazel Simons have no plans of being mated to you and so I therefore reject you as my mate”

Axel stared at her for long seconds before getting up from the floor too.

“Listen to this, Hazel Simons. I, Axel Hills have no plans of being rejected by you. You are my mate and you will remain so forever!” His voice sounded a little bit forceful.

“I won’t! I already rejected you, Axel. We have no ties together. Let me be from now on” she turned to leave but he grabbed her by the arm and pulled her back.

“Listen to me Hazel, you cannot let anyone see you in your wolf form” the way he spoke with so much urgency in his tone made Hazel creep out.

“What are you saying? Let me go?” She groaned.

“You really cannot let anyone see you! It’s dangerous”

“Fine! Just let me go!” She groaned and he let go of her arm.

She glared at him for a few seconds and turned away.

“Hazel” he called her name when she had only walked a few steps away.

She stopped in her tracks, her lips pressed together as she tried to hold back her emotions.

“You really have to listen to me this time around. No matter how angered you are, do not show your wolf form.”

Hearing that, she walked away, back into her living room, shutting and locking the door behind her.

Her first thoughts was…

Had she done the right thing by rejecting him?

“Yes! I have done the right thing. He treated me like trash while in bed with Clarissa and wants me to be his mate gladly? Only in a nightmare!”

She huffed and walked into her room, locking the door behind her too, not wanting him to come into her room in the middle of the night.

That night, the night she had shifted wad supposed to be her happiest night but no, he had to ruin it all by being her mate.

Hazel sat on the bed and took a look at her skin.

She tried shifting into her wolf form and she did it, it hurt yet again but not as much as the first time and it did not take as much time as it took the first time also.

She laid on her bed in her wolf form, enjoying the joy of being able to be a wolf. Her mind drifted to his words.

Even if she had rejected him and told herself that she did not need him and would not listen to his words, there was something that told her she needed to listen to him on this one, that whatever it was, it was to protect her.

She purred as she thought of him. Perhaps she would have been perfect with him if that night never happened.
