“For this round of the competition, you will be authenticating the most priceless items we have. It is a petrified coral. Its estimated value is 10 million dollars. You will each contribute 5 million dollars. You may bet 10 to 20 million dollars."

As per Killian's request, the organizers skipped over the round with the Myrena Era pearls and brought out two specimens of petrified coral. The colors of the coral made everyone gasp.

"We'll bet 20 million dollars. Do you dare to take the bet?"

Dustin did not speak for a moment.

"This isn't about whether he dares to take the bet," Luna said. "Look at how destitute he looks. It's a miracle that he could fork out a million dollars. Since the bet is 20 million dollars, he definitely cannot afford it. He doesn't even have the minimum amount to join."

That was all the text said.

Killian could not help but chuckle.

The past texts that he got were only

tips. The second text had been ambiguous. However, the final text was straightforward and gave him

the right answer.

What was the point in examining the specimens, then? They were definitely going to win!

Killian looked up at Dustin and found him sitting calmly.

'What's the point of putting up a brave front? I'm sure you'll be crying in just a while!' he thought.

Time passed, and Darren took a long time to check the specimens and kept wiping his brow. After a very long time, he finally made his decision.

"I think this one is the real one. I am 90% sure," Darren said and pointed at the specimen right before Killian.

Killian grinned. It was the same answer as the text had indicated. Thus, he was even more confident.
