No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

After sending the data, Noelle hesitantly asked, "Can it be restored?"

Cedric replied, "Yes, but since this video involves a crime, it must be handed over to you in person."

Noelle pondered for a moment and immediately agreed. "No problem. When will it be ready?"

"By Saturday at the latest."

"See you Saturday then."

Seeing his assurance that the video could be restored, a small smile tugged at Noelle's lips. Once she had the video, Xenia's days would be numbered. She couldn't let this anger go unacknowledged!

Meanwhile, Cedric sat quietly, staring at the data on his computer, a sense of unease creeping in.

"Cedric, do you think this 'MM Bean' could be Nelly?"

"Why would you think that?"

"I heard about something at Yole University. A freshman was smeared with fake rumors, and she locked the haters' phones. Even the computer science professors couldn't crack the code she wrote. Isn't that impressive?"

Cedric's eyes narrowed slightly. "Don't tell me that person is Noelle?"

"Exactly! That's why I suspect MM Bean is her!"

Cedric hadn't expected Noelle to be so skilled, but if she truly was MM Bean, it wasn't surprising, given how much he'd taught her.

He glanced at Alfred. "Let's get to work. This video needs to be restored before Friday."

Whether MM Bean was Noelle or not, Cedric was determined to recover the surveillance footage.

Friday arrived quickly. After waking up, Noelle left her dormitory. She was heading to meet J and retrieve the restored video.

However, as she approached the school gate, Frank stopped her and handed her a luxury-brand gift bag.

"Noelle, I heard about what happened to you at the bar with Samantha. If you want to pursue this, I'll hire the best lawyer for you!"

"Are you sure?" Noelle glanced at Frank with a faint smile. "What if Xenia was involved, too? Will your lawyer go after her as well?"

Frank hesitated for a moment. Finally, he spoke, "Noelle, I've talked with Xenia. You must know about the case where Samantha bullied a classmate to death, right? That's the kind of person she is.

"Xenia had her difficulties and didn't dare to intervene at the time. But she definitely didn't work with Samantha to harm you."

Noelle wasn't surprised by Frank's explanation at all. She let out a soft, hollow laugh, but her eyes remained cold.

Noelle then shoved the luxury gift bag back into Frank's hands. "The Liddell family never fails to disgust me!"noveldrama

"Noelle, I know you don't like Xenia, but the surveillance footage from that night was deleted. There's no evidence to prove Xenia was involved. I can't hold her responsible without proof."

"You want proof? You'll get it soon enough." Her gaze darkened as she stepped into a waiting taxi, leaving without another word.

Frank stared at the gift bag on the ground, a bitter smile on his face. Both Noelle and Xenia were dear to him, but without concrete evidence, how could he accuse Xenia?

"Frank, I was asleep earlier and missed your call, so I came out late. I know which dorm building Noelle lives in, and I can take you there, but she probably won't acknowledge you."

Noticing the gift bag that was still in his hands, Xenia added, "So, you've seen her? What did she say about what happened at the bar that night?"

In truth, Xenia was feeling a little guilty. But with the Merlock family having deleted

the surveillance footage, as long as she didn't admit anything, there was no way they could pin the blame on her!

Frank adjusted his tie and deliberately said, "She said she's found evidence from that night at the bar."

What? Xenia's expression shifted to panic instantly. That was impossible!

Without saying another word, Frank walked toward his car.

Xenia quickly followed. "Frank, are you planning to go after Noelle? Let me come with you! I'm worried she might do something drastic."

Frank gave her a long, piercing look. "Get in the car."

A flicker of satisfaction crossed Xenia's eyes. She needed to find out what evidence Noelle claimed to have so she could prepare a countermeasure in advance. However, deep down, she was certain Noelle was bluffing!
