Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 64

“Is there water? I want to drink,” spoke Sasha.

Naomi turned her to Sasha and said, “Yes, there is.”

She went to the bedside table to pour water.

However, Sasha reacted quickly, saying, “Is your hand alright? Don’t worry about me; I can do it myself.”

Olivia walked over. “Let me do it.”

on my own.”

“No need. I can manage on my own.

Sasha took the water kettle from the bedside table to pour water. However, halfway through, she exclaimed, “Agh, it’s hot!”

Then, a loud crash echoed in the room.

The glass cup fell to the ground, instantly shattering into pieces.

Sasha immediately jumped, and Naomi could not react in time. She felt a force pushing her forward.

In front of her was Olivia. Seeing that she was about to fall toward Olivia, she instinctively reached out to the side but was forcefully pushed again.

Bang!

She and Olivia fell to the ground.

“Oh, no! Aunt Olivia, are you okay?”

Naomi pressed Olivia beneath her, with her wrapped hands against the ground. The pain caused cold sweat to break out on her forehead.

However, she knew Olivia was underneath her. She tried to push the pain out of her mind as she tried to get up. However, at this moment, Sasha shoved her, sending her toward the bedside table.

Naomi instantly collided with the bedside table and fell to the floor, unable to move.

“Ah! Blood! Aunt Olivia, you’re bleeding!”

Hearing this, Naomi opened her eyes, enduring the pain, and sat up to look at Olivia.

However, Sasha blocked her view.

At this moment, fast footsteps approached.

Naomi instinctively looked up and saw that tall figure striding over, lifting Olivia in his arms.

“Quick, Uncle Scott. Get help for Aunt Olivia!”

Scott did not say a word. His gaze was heavy as he looked at the person in his arms. He turned and walked out in large strides. All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

Throughout the entire process, he did not glance at Naomi once. It was as if she did not exist at all.

Or rather, there was no place for her in his eyes. She never had one.

Naomi sat motionless. Scott carried Olivia out of the room, and the steady footsteps quickly faded away. The ward returned to its previous silence, with only her remaining.

After a while, Naomi lowered her head, struggling to stand up as she thought, ‘Mom should be back soon. If she sees everything here, she’ll be worried.‘

She did not want to make her family worry. However, Naomi overestimated herself. The moment she tried to move, a piercing pain shot through her, and the spot where she collided with the table ached. She collapsed to the floor, unable to get up again.

She felt pain like never before, making even the slightest movement impossible.

“Naomi!” Charles saw the person on the ground, as well as the scattered shards of glass faintly stained with blood. His expression fell as he hurried over.

Naomi opened her eyes when she heard his voice and saw how pale he looked. She froze.

Why was Charles here?

Without much time to think, Charles lifted her. As he did, however, he inadvertently touched the spot where she had been hit, and Naomi hissed out of pain.

Charles immediately stopped, not daring to move. “Where does it hurt?”

He looked down at her with a mix of nervousness and fear, his face even paler than hers.

Naomi had never seen Charles like this. A smile appeared on her pale face. She looked so strained that it was even worse than not smiling at all. That smile stabbed at his heart.

“It’s okay, Charles. Just put me back on the bed.”

Charles had come to the hospital after sending Dean to the hotel. He thought of bringing chargers since they might not have them on this side. However, as he turned the corner, he saw Scott carrying

someone out of Naomi’s room.’”

At a glance, his heart panicked, thinking Scott was holding Naomi. However, when he saw the hanging curls, the high heels, and the person following Scott, he felt relieved. It was not Naomi. Good.

Nonetheless, he did not dare to linger and quickly rushed to Naomi’s room.

As soon as he entered, he saw the chaos inside, especially Naomi lying on the floor. Her face, pale with pain, tore at his heart. Not knowing what happened and with no time to think, he strode in, lifting Naomi to put her on the bed.

However, the moment he moved her, she winced in pain, her already pale face losing even more color.

He was scared like never before.

“Okay.”

He could see that she was trying to suppress the pain and forcing a smile. He carefully placed her ori the bed, scrutinizing her face to see her pain and her resilience.

Even though he was careful, her eyebrows still furrowed in pain.

“Don’t move. I’ll go get the doctor.”

Charles was about to leave in a hurry, but Naomi stopped him. “Charles.”
