Reborn as the Villainess

Reborn As The 62

Chapter62

Felix was still enjoying Eleanor's soft, sweet words, completely immersed at the moment when he was suddenly interrupted. His expression darkened instantly.

He turned to look at Gloria, who was standing behind him, and coldly said, "Didn't they teach you anything about respecting

your

elders at school? Since when is it your turn to lecture your sister?"

Gloria caught off guard and feeling wronged, stammered, "Felix. I wasn't... I just wanted to help you..."

"There's no need for that. Just stick to your own and keep your little schemes to yourself. If I hear anything like this again, I won't hesitate to call our parents overseas and explain everything." After saying that, Felix turned and got into the car, not even bothering to glance back at her.

Gloria hadn't expected him to take it that far, and her whole body shook with anger. She stomped her foot, her with hatred.

She couldn't help but think, 'Felix is just backing up Eleanor and giving me a warning shot.

filled

'What he's really telling me is that if I dare say anything against Eleanor in front of her again, he'll report it straight to our parents: And they all know the reason I'm even allowed to stay in the Vanderbilt family after Eleanor returns is mostly because of Zack and Diana. 'If they start to think less of me, too, I might not be able to stay at Vanderbilt Manor anymore. Damn it! It's all Eleanor's fault!

As Gloria clenched her fists tightly, her nails dug deep into her palms without her even realizing it. Questions spun in her mind. Why did Eleanor come back? Why didn't she just die out there? Why isn't she the real heiress of the Vanderbilt family?

Once hatred took root, it spread like a desert plant finding water, growing uncontrollably, branching out in every direction.

In the car, Eleanor glanced at Felix, who sat beside her and raised an eyebrow, slightly curious. "Did you just lecture Gloria about respecting elders?"

Felix blinked in surprise. "How did you know that?" She had been in the car for a while now, so it didn't make sense. He questioned whether the car's soundproofing was that poor.

Eleanor chuckled, "Because I can read lips."

Felix was shocked. "You can read lips? Did you learn that on purpose?"

Eleanor shook her head. "No. I'm self-taught."

Honestly, even she didn't fully understand it. It was as if she was born with certain skills. Just seeing something once felt like unlocking a hidden potential inside her. No matter how hard it seemed, she could learn it instantly. Lip-reading, hacking, racing, dancing, fighting... There were so many things like that.

Sometimes, Eleanor wondered if she was even human at all or if she was some kind of robot trained somewhere, with her memories wiped clean.

Felix's face lit up with pride when he heard her say she was self-taught. "That's my sister," he said with a satisfied nod.

Eleanor glanced at him without showing any emotion and continued with the previous topic. "You just said that the younger ones should respect their elders and that you won't let Gloria bully me in the future. But what if I bully her instead? What then?" She was just curious. After all, it wasn't only Gloria who thought Felix had changed. Even she felt that Félix's transformation

seemed a bit too unreat

Felix remained completely calm when he heard Eleanor's question, replying, "If you bully her, then so be it. You're not the type to stir up trouble on purpose, so if you did, it's probably because she did something wrong.

"Besides, you're the older sister. Teaching your younger sibling is part of the job. How could that be considered bullying? It's just sisterly advice, that's all."

Eleanor was so shocked that she gave Felix a big thumbs-up. She figured Felix had truly earned his title as Aloria High School's number one for three years straight. His way of thinking was so unusual yet impossible to argue with.

Later that evening, Eleanor received a phone call from Victor. He said, "Hello. Is this Eleanor?"

She was a little surprised but answered, "Yes, this is she."

Victor chuckled, his deep voice coming through the phone. "It's Victor, the director of the movie "The Nameless Sea', the one you auditioned for. Do you remember? Sorry for getting in touch so late, but I've been filming in a remote village these past few days.

"I just got back and saw that you were trending online. Don't worry. I've already had our PR team take care of it, and I promise it won't affect you much."

Eleanor clicked open Twitter and noticed that the hashtag, which had been holding steady in the top five trending topics, was indeed gone.

If it were any other director, they definitely wouldn't pass up the chance to increase exposure by staying on the trending list for a few days. Eleanor hadn't expected Victor to pull it down immediately-clearly, he wasn't interested in riding the wave of attention. She couldn't help but feel a bit more fond of him. Eleanor responded, "Thank you, Victor."

Victor replied, "No problem. This was our fault for not keeping things confidential. I'm not sure who leaked the scoring sheet, but it caused you a lot of trouble, so it's us who should apologize.

"But since you've seen it, you probably already know that our entire crew has unanimously agreed that you're the best fit for the role of Megan. What do you think on your end?"

"I can do it. I really love acting."

"Great, great! That's exactly what I was waiting to hear. Here's the plan. I'll send you the contract in a few days. Once you sign it, everything will be finalized.

"I heard you're a senior this year, and with just one month left until the University Admissions Testing, we'll hold off on the launch ceremony and everything else until after your exams. Maybe we can get a little luck from you!" ""Sure, Victor."

After hanging up the phone, Eleanor exhaled a long breath, a smug and unrestrained smile spreading across her face.

She thought, 'I've once again proven my abilities and made it.into the industry I love in this world.

'I love acting. I love being able to experience all kinds of lives with abandon, and I also love seeing the emotions people feel when they watch my characters.

'I've made it!'
