She's the Campus Prince

The valet drove the car into the underground parking lot of Noble Vista.

Cameron paid the fare, and the driver took off, leaving the car in silence. Just her and Bradley.

"Brad?" Cameron leaned over and gently shook his arm.,

No response.

She let out a sigh.

'Seriously? That one cocktail knocked him out? Why even go to a bar if your tolerance is that low?'

She considered her options. Ultimately, she decided to bring him into her place,

for she didn't know the passcode to his apartment anyway.

Cameron was five-nine. Bradley stood at six-two. And he was completely deadweight.

Still, she slipped his arm around her neck and anchored him firmly to her side.

His full weight leaned on her, but she didn't stumble. Her steps we

steady.

They made their way to the elevator. As they stood inside, Cameron caught their reflection in the mirrored panel and sighed again.

Once upstairs, she keyed in the code and brought Bradley into her apartment. She led him straight to the master bedroom.

The guest room hadn't been used in ages. But before Cameron had left last time, she'd covered the master bed with a dust sheet. She pulled it off now, revealing a clean set of sheets underneath.

She carefully eased Bradley onto the mattress. Just as she was about to remove his arm from around her neck, he reflexively tightened it. Cameron lost her balance and fell forward, her face landing squarely against his broad shoulder.

Cameron froze. After a few seconds, she pried his arm off and stood up, rubbing the spot on her cheek where she'd hit him.

She stood in the room for a while longer. Still no sign of Bradley waking up.noveldrama

With a resigned sigh, she knelt down and took off his shoes. Then she grabbed a warm towel from the bathroom, removed his glasses, and dabbed it clumsily over his face.

When she returned from tossing the towel, she noticed that Bradley had shifted positions.

He was lying on his side now. His white dress shirt, buttoned all the way to the top, clung neatly to his frame. But his twisted posture had it pulled awkwardly across his torso.

Cameron hesitated, then undid the top two buttons, and tugged the blanket over him.

Straightening up, she murmured, "Sleep well, Brad. I'm heading back."

She still needed to return to the dorm.

The moment the front door clicked shut, the "sleeping" man opened his eyes.

Bradley sat up slowly and reached for his gold-rimmed glasses on the nightstand, sliding them on with unhurried precision.

A sly smile tugged at his lips.

Drunk? From one cocktail? Hardly.

He hadn't expected Cameron to bring him back to her place, let alone let him sleep in her bed.

'And I thought he was the neat freak.

She'd not only hauled him inside, she even let him use her bedroom. Tonight had confirmed one thing for Bradley-Cameron didn't pass fonnt dera

And that was all he needed.

It meant he could move forward.

He was still smiling to himself when his phone buzzed in his pocket.

Bradley pulled it out leisurely.

A number he didn't recognize.

He hesitated for a few seconds and then picked up. “Hello, who's this?"

"Bradley Saunders! What the hell did you do to Cameron?!"

Amelia's voice exploded through the line.

She'd been texting and calling Cameron nonstop with no response.

The fact that Cameron had gone to a bar with Bradley only made her more anxious.

To make matters worse, Bradley had blocked her number.

So now she was calling from Lila's phone.

Bradley frowned. "Amelia?"
