So Worked Up
“It wasn’t so though… just in a bad mood earlier” Amelia tried to clear the air but Travis just raised a brow at her in a disbelieving way.
Seeing that expression on Travis’s face, Amelia just looked away, not bothering to explain herself.
Once she said something to a person and that person disbelieves her, She wouldn’t waste her time and effort to try to convince the person.
Her slogan was always “A person who understands you doesn’t need an explanation, a person who doesn’t understand you, shouldn’t be explained”
Travis waited for a reasonable reason but seeing she was disinclined to say further, he was a bit confused but impressed.
She was such a character.
“Okay then, how about a cup of coffee??” Travis proposed innocently.
“Ah thanks for the invitation but I’d better head home now, it’s almost night time,” Amelia said calmly as she scanned Travis who was wearing a black striped trouser and a white sleeve, black suit on top.
He was okay in looks, Handsome, and had a good and nice haircut, his skin was flawless and silky and looked milky all the way.
His face had fine features but He still paled in comparison to Alexander who was a lord of Sinful beauties.
Handsome like an immortal and as if free from the world’s dirt and uncleanliness. Like a water god who emerged from his kingdom below.
Amelia twitched her nose when she thought of all these, She was comparing Travis with Alexander.
“I can drive you home if you don’t mind” Travis replied again as he looked at his watch, it was about 7 pm.
Amelia didn’t think much of it as she said again “Hubby calls” As she said that she took a small step.
“Ohh..” Travis replied with multiple nods, he had totally forgotten even after calling her Mrs Ron, earlier.
She was indeed a married woman and to Alexander for that matter.
“Okay Next time,” Travis said and Amelia laughed a bit while nodding.
“Sure thing,” Amelia said and turned to leave.
Travis was in deep thought for a while before asking her suddenly “How about WeChat??” Travis asked, he respected married women though but making friends with one wasn’t a crime.
At least they could be friends, Amelia was smart and Seemed educated.
He should be on her good side.
Amelia nodded a bit scanned his WeChat and messaged him for him to have her contact info too.
“Okay then,” Amelia said and left hurriedly with Travis still looking at his phone.
Just when she reached the side of the road to cross the street, a car suddenly parked in front of her.Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.
Ghost immediately stood up from his chair put his hand into his trouser pocket and held his gun, alerted.
Travis had already walked into the Mall.
Amelia rolled her eyes a bit, for many reasons she couldn’t be scared of this green-headed Knight.
She suddenly started to wonder if she had bad luck today, she kept running into weird faces And doing stupid things.
Knight rolled his glass down to look at Amelia who was already standing in a defensive mood.
She took two steps backward and made a stoic expression as if scared of nothing.
“We meet again, I suddenly think we must be fated to keep meeting each other, such a nice evening, “Knight said as he placed one hand on his steering wheel and the other at the edge of his seat.
Knight’s eyes roamed around Amelia’s body and Amelia felt so strange as she kept a frowning face.
“So unfortunate for me today” Amelia gritted those words out as she stared at Knight with no fear.
“How so??” Knight asked amusingly and Amelia snorted at him so loudly.
“You are such wasted efforts that I can’t seem to stand you every single time,” She said and was about to walk out when she heard.
“It seems you’re still with that bastard after what he did to you at the ball!!” Knight shook his head at Amelia in pity and reproach.
Amelia frowned and walked towards his car a bit and leaned down to see the knight’s face.
“And what gave you the right to curse at my husband in front of me??” Amelia didn’t know where the strength and boldness came from but she immediately tried to defend Alexander.
Knight’s eyes flashed with unknown expressions “Is this what love turns one into??”
Amelia wasn’t happy about his words as she again “The blind one is you, you fail to see what’s good for you!” Amelia retorted and Knight giggled.
“I know what’s good for me, and that’s the very reason I came here today to meet you, aren’t I sweet??” Knight laughed leisurely and Amelia felt disgusted as he continued to laugh.
“You’re just a fool” Amelia walked to the other side without paying Knight any attention again.
Knight didn’t bother with her insult as his eyes followed Amelia who was heading to the car opposite his.
His eyes turned so cold and bone-chilling as he continued to watch as Amelia made her way to Alexander’s car.
It was the very car he used that night!
Knight held onto the steering wheels so tightly and his veins popped out of his hands.
Amelia subconsciously looked back as she felt a shiver run down her spine.
Amelia immediately got into the car to leave the vicinity.
Ghost made a tight fist as he immediately reported the knight’s encounter with his madam. After ending the call, he walked into a stall and came out again, this time he was wearing a black jacket instead of the white shirt he was wearing earlier.
Only the Alphas knew What that small-looking and serene Stall truly was.
In the day, the stall was bustling with people coming to buy street foods but at night….
It was unsightly.
The car slowly parked at the entrance of The mansion and Amelia came down with the driver.
Amelia carried her bags and walked in.
She was greeted at the door by Alexander.
“Heyy,” Amelia said but Alexander didn’t listen to her or respond as he walked towards her and started turning her around to see for anything.
He held her small face “Are you okay??”
Amelia didn’t need to ask, her bodyguard must have reported about the knight meeting her to him.
Amelia rolled her eyes “Why’re you getting so worked up?? I’m not a kid who’d just stand and let someone bully or hurt me”
“….. and besides, My bodyguard was around the corner”
With that statement, Alexander immediately used his fingers to flick her on the forehead.
“Ouch..” Amelia exclaimed as she held onto her forehead.
