Stuck In The Wrong Marriage

Chapter 35

Happy reading….

Jayden grimaced softly. The envelope in his hand became the target of annoyance that felt like it was already at the top of his head. He squeezed the edge of the envelope until it was shapeless.

“So this was all your plan?” Jayden asked looking at Hera blankly and sadly.

“Yes. This was all my plan. Because then you show your true side, Jayden,” said Hera. “Like you said I mean nothing to you at all, so why are we holding on to a marriage that was never wanted. It’s better if we separate.”

“Then what about Juan? Haven’t you ever thought about it?” Jayden asked again.

Hera laughed amused at Jayden’s words which made her stomach feel queasy. “Then what about Elena? Are you willing to leave her to live with Juan and me?”

Jayden flinched. How can he choose? These two are the most precious things in Jayden’s life.

“You can’t choose, right?” asked Hera mockingly. “You should have thought about all that before you were in a relationship with Elena again. So that one day you won’t regret it.”

Hera took a deep breath. Tighten the brown cardigan she was wearing because for some reason a sudden chill hit her

“I hope you recover quickly so we can sort things out,” said Hera, walking out of the room. Leaving Jayden who was still silent without any further defense.

A few days later….

“How are you?” the man asked the woman beside him.

The woman in the warm clothes smiled crookedly as she stared ahead where the waves were chasing each other. The beach atmosphere in the afternoon is indeed the best place to refresh a chaotic mind and heart.

“That’s better,” replied Hera. “Just waiting for a summons from the court.”

“Did your family know about this divorce plan?” asked Haidar.

They’ve been seeing each other a lot lately. Either it was outside or it was Haidar who came to Hera’s house. Since Jayden himself had since recovered from his fever, he returned to Elena’s house again.

Hera shook her head in response. “Not yet. Maybe I’ll tell them when it’s all over.”

“Isn’t that too risky?”

“I don’t know. Actually I’m afraid to tell my parents. Especially my father. They will be very surprised by this decision. Moreover, they know that Jayden and I are fine,” said Hera sounding so nervous.

Haider sighed. “So this is what you always think about when you decide to part with Jayden?” In the end Haidar understood.

“Yes. If only no one would be hurt when I parted with Jayden. Maybe since I saw him making love with Elena, I would immediately leave him,” Hera said with her eyes starting to flood with tears.

Haidar looked sadly at Hera. It must have been very difficult for her to endure this long. The man grabbed Hera’s hand, gripped it tightly making the woman look at him.

“I promise I will help you get out of it,” said Haidar with a serious look.

Hera smiled faintly. She was so grateful to have met Haidar. Maybe their meeting was short, but because of the bond of cooperation, they got closer. Even Hera didn’t feel awkward or embarrassed to share her story with Haidar like a close friend. Honestly, Hera felt comfortable with Haidar. Although sometimes he feels that this kind of attention is not the first time she has felt.

Who knows. Hera is feeling de javu.

Haidar himself did not object to it. Because it made the duration of his meeting with Hera more frequent. That’s exactly what he wanted. Together with the woman he loves. Although their relationship has not been tied anything.

“Thank you very much,” Hera said sincerely.Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

“You’re welcome. Whatever it is, Hera,” said Haidar.

“Oh yes. A few days ago a young woman approached me,” said Hera.

“Who?”

“Viona Angelina.”

There was a frown on Haidar’s forehead. Confused why Viona met Hera?

Wait?

Was the friend Viona meant that day was Hera?

“What did she tell you?” asked Haidar.

Haidar’s panicked face made Hera chuckle a little. “Don’t worry, I didn’t say anything that would make your girlfriend angry,” she said teasingly.

“No. She’s not my girlfriend, just a childhood friend,” said Haidar, not wanting to make Hera misunderstand.

“You have a relationship with her is okay. Why do you look so panicked?” asked Hera interspersed with a chuckle and a tone like someone joking.

“I just want to have a relationship like that with you, Hera. Not with other women,” said Haidar making Hera’s laugh slowly fade.

If it’s about feelings, the atmosphere will definitely become awkward. Especially when Hera saw the look in the man’s eyes, it was seen how serious Haidar was about his feelings but Hera couldn’t reply.

“Can we have a relationship like that when you’re separated from Jayden?” Haidar even made the atmosphere even more awkward between them.

“I don’t know, I’m not sure,” said Hera, looking down.

Haidar grimaced softly, almost inaudibly. His heart felt like it was being pinched. It hurts even though Haidar might start to be immune to it. But seeing the fact that Hera continued to build walls so that she could not move forward made Haidar disheartened.

Will his love be reciprocated or will it just end like this? It’s really sad if that’s the case.

“But the future who knows. Maybe one day I can love you like you love me,” Hera said again making Haidar’s smile rise.

“I’ll make you fall in love with me, Hera. You’ll see!” Haidar replied excitedly.

Hera shouldn’t have given Haidar hope, wasn’t it when she herself had doubts about her feelings?

But all those feelings of guilt vanished when Hera saw how cute Haidar’s smile was. This was the first time Hera had seen Haidar smile so wide and happy. And for some reason Hera’s heart was beating fast.

“So handsome,” Hera muttered subconsciously staring at Haidar for a long period of time.

“What?” Haidar noticed that Hera was muttering. “Did you say something, Hera?”

Hera nodded slowly. “No. I didn’t say anything.” The woman then looked down in shame.

“Really? But I kind of heard you mutter earlier,” said Haidar still in disbelief.

“Ah, never mind. I want to go home now,” said Hera changing the subject. The woman stood up first, followed by Haidar.

Ddrrtt….

Until she stopped when the phone in her jacket pocket vibrated.

“My mother-in-law called. What’s wrong?” muttered Hera seeing Jane’s name, her mother-in-law written on it.

“Hello, Ma?” said Hera in response to the call.

“Where are you, Hera?” asked Jane in a trembling voice. For some reason this made Hera suddenly feel bad.

“I was outside. What’s wrong, Ma?” asked Hera trying to calm down.

But when she heard the woman’s voice erupt, Hera knew that things wouldn’t end just like that. Was God kidding her?

“Papa went to the hospital shocked that you filed for Jayden’s divorce.”

To be continued….
