Stuck In The Wrong Marriage

Chapter 4

Happy reading….

During almost a week at her parents’ house, Anne did not hear a complaint from Hera about her and Jayden’s household.

‘Am I the only one being too paranoid?’ Anne thought. Seeing how Hera was very happy while taking care of Juan she became doubtful if the child had a problem.

“Do I deserve the title of mother now?” asked Hera smiling proudly as she finished clothes Baby Juan. She was so satisfied that she could finally take good care of Juan. From bathing to putting Baby Juan in diapers and clothes, Hera did it herself without any help from her mother anymore.

“Juan is very lucky to have a mother like you,” said Anne, making Hera smile even more.

“Is that true?”

“Yes, my dear daughter.”

Hera immediately hugged her mother tightly. So happy to learn many valuable lessons to take care of Juan. Apart from that regarding household matters, Hera didn’t want to tell her mother, but Anne’s words a few days ago left her speechless.

“How’s dad’s company doing, Mom?” asked Hera quietly.

“Since joining your husband’s company, your father’s business has been getting smoother. Even your father can increase the salary of his employees,” replied Anne with a beaming face that could not hide her happiness.

Hera didn’t know how to react. She was happy that her father’s business was getting better but on the other hand it meant Hera would be more attached to Jayden.

Then how did Hera part with Jayden?

“Why is that, Hera?” she asked.

Hera shook her head, showing a faint smile. “It’s okay. I just wanted to know.” Hera’s hopes were dashed to get away from Jayden in the near future.

“I guess I’ll have to hold on a little longer,” Hera whispered almost inaudibly.

“Good afternoon!” who said someone made the two women break the hug and then turned around.

Hera took a deep breath. She had just forgotten about the matter for a while, the man with the brown mane had come as if to tell Hera that he wouldn’t let go that easily.

“Good afternoon, Jayden,” said Anne to her men-in-law. She gave his a warm hug and brought his closer to Hera.

“How are you today, honey?” Jayden asked after he gave Hera a quick peck on the forehead. The thing he always did when he came there.

Hera had thought that Jayden would not come and care for her like when he was in the hospital. However, Hera was wrong. Every day the man would come to visit her and even stay with her there.

As usual Jayden always performs his role well. His family’s ideal men-in-law.

“I’m fine.” ‘Before you came to destroy everything.’ Hera was annoyed in her heart.

“Thank goodness. Because today I want you to come home,” Jayden said.

“What?”

“Why do you look so surprised, honey?”

Hera looked at her mother then smiled faintly. “Nothing,” she answered quickly and then looked down.

Jayden approached Anne. “It’s okay, Mom. If today I bring Hera home?” Jayden asked in a slightly persuasive tone.

Anne looked at Hera first before nodding. “Sure. I have no right to keep her here any longer,” said Anne.

“Thank you, ma’am. I’m sure Hera can take care of Juan alone from now on,” Jayden said, looking at Hera triumphantly. Because finally he could take Hera away from there.

***

No one made a sound during the trip. Hera was busy with Juan while Jayden was busy behind the wheel of the car. They were completely separated by the wall that the two of them had built in their marriage relationship.

When they are both got home, Hera didn’t go down to go inside. The shadow of that painful night still haunted Hera. Had anything happened to the baby that night, she might have killed Jayden with her own hands. Thankfully everything is fine.

Hera exhaled slowly looking at the house. She seemed to have her own trauma with the house. And unfortunately she had to stay there somehow.

“Are you going down or not?” asked Jayden who was already outside the car.

Hera just looked at him for a moment then got out of the car. The woman who was holding her baby took a deep breath before following Jayden’s steps into the house.

Every step felt so heavy. But the cry of the baby in her arms seemed to be the impetus for Hera to enter. Maybe Baby Juan is starting to feel cold.

When she got inside, she was greeted enthusiastically by the maids. Especially Ara. A 22 year old girl, the maid Hera was closest to.

“Madam Hera is home!” Ara said with a smile on her face. Hera returned a small smile. “Can I carry him?” she asked looking at Juan.Exclusive content from NôvelDrama.Org.

“Sure,” replied Hera handing Juan to Ara. However, it will be Ara who will take care of Juan.

“I want to rest,” Hera mumbled intending to hurry to her room but Jayden stopped Hera’s steps.

“What is it?” asked Hera confused.

“That room has become me and Elena’s room. You can use the guest room from now on,” Jayden replied, making Hera gape. ‘What did he say? His and Elena’s room.’

“Welcome back, Hera!”

The woman who had just been named appeared from behind Jayden. Embracing even gave Jayden a quick peck on the cheek.

Hera chuckled. How shameless the two humans in front of her were. Here, there are even Ara and a few maids, but they don’t hesitate to have intimate scenes. Oh Lord.

“What the hell, Jayden? You let this woman live in our house?” asked Hera pointing at the woman.

“What did you say? Our house?” Jayden chuckled lightly. “This is my house. Don’t get me wrong. So it’s up to me who I want to bring here,” he continued.

“Yes, that’s true. Besides, I should have lived in this house,” said Elena. “But you took it instead. But now I’ve reclaimed my rights,” she continued, smiling broadly.

Hera looked at Jayden. Now she knew the man’s purpose for bringing her home. She wanted to show that he had now won over Hera by bringing his mistress to live with them.

Hera desperately held back her tears. She must not appear weak in front of them. Because she was sure that was what Jayden and Elena wanted. Even though Hera couldn’t take it anymore.

“It’s up to you!” said Hera walked away from there. Followed by Ara.

“Madam Hera!” called Ara quietly as soon as they arrived in the room.

“Please, Ara. Can you leave me alone?” Hera asked with her back to Ara.

“Okay, Madam.” Ara nodded slowly. Putting Baby Juan on the bed then leaving the room leaving Hera in tears.

There was a faint sound of laughter from outside the room. The couple seemed to be mocking Hera who was crying alone in the room. Hera sat up, leaning on the bed. She hugged his knees so she wouldn’t hear the sound of crying.

“Oh my God, can I survive?” asked Hera. She really didn’t think she would be able to face Jayden and Elena alone.
