The Deadly Assassin Robin

The Deadly Novelssss 1345

Chapter 1345 Gyro City of Rosha

Robin couldn’t help but laugh as he gazed at the fierce exotic creatures kneeling before him.

At first, he had been puzzled by the white dragon’s decision to give him this small, dark creature.

But now, he realized that this tiny animal was, in fact, the ruler of all the wild beasts in the Dark Woods.

Robin still didn’t fully understand what gave this creature such powerwhat made it so terrifying that it could command the respect of the savage animals in the Dark Woods.

Yet, the mere presence of the Larvikite Dragon was enough to make these wild beasts bow down in submission.

Though small, the creature was undeniably powerful!

On Earth, there were people who spent their whole lives trying to be worshipped, yet never succeeded.

This little black creature, however, only had to give a single glance to make the beasts kneel before it.

As they continued along the path, flanked by these exotic beasts, Robin suddenly noticed that each one had placed a pile of bright red Bloodshade Fruits in front of itself.

These fruits were larger and more vibrant than the ones Robin had seen in Peachgrove.

The Larvikite Dragon nodded in approval and brought its brilliant blue eyes close to Robin’s face, silently indicating that he should gather all the fruits.

Robin immediately understood these Bloodshade Fruits were valuable, but the sheer quantity made it difficult to carry them all.

It seemed the Larvikite Dragon could read his thoughts. Its large blue eyes twirled, as if deep in thought.

Suddenly, it leapt off Robin’s shoulder.

The wild beasts on both sides trembled in fear.

Watching this, Daphne couldn’t help but laugh once more.

There was the once–imposing Larvikite Dragon, now hesitant, glancing back at Daphne, too scared to continue forward.

“Go on, don’t mind me!” Daphne stifled her laughter. “Haha” she said, her voice fading as she tried to regain composure.

She knew that if she laughed any longer, the creature might completely lose its temper.

At last, the Larvikite Dragon turned back around and continued forward.

Robin couldn’t suppress his amusement. The king of the Dark Woods‘ beasts was afraid of Daphne’s charming laugh–he never could have guessed it.

After a quick look around, the Larvikite Dragon flew back to Robin’s shoulder.

Its sapphire–blue eyes fixed on the firebird emerald pendant hanging froin Robin’s neck.

Hiss!the Larvikite Dragon hissed loudly.

In an instant, all the exotic beasts placed their Bloodshade Fruits before Robin.

Every one of the fruits was drawn into the firebird emerald pendant.

It was then that Robin realized–this pendant was a massive storage device, something he hadn’t considered before.

The exotic beasts had given him well over a few hundred thousand Bloodshade Fruits, and now they were safely stored within the firebird emerald pendant..

Watching the Larvikite Dragon collect them with glee, Robin chuckled. “Looks like you know how to make the most of things.”

He glanced at the exotic beasts, whose faces were filled with sorrow as they watched the fruits they had offered disappear into the pendant.

Looking around the barren Dark Woods, Robin realized that there were no more Bloodshade Fruits in sight.

These creatures relied on the fruits to survive.

With so many taken from them, many of the beasts would soon go hungry, waiting for the next season’s harvest.

It was nature’s law–only the strongest would survive..

After more than an hour of walking, they finally reached the edge of the Dark Woods.

As they moved, the Larvikite Dragon had gathered tens of thousands of the Bloodshade Fruits, and by the time they reached the border of the woods, Robin estimated that the pendant held around three million of them..

Seeing how casually the Larvikite Dragon collected the fruits, Robin patted its head. “You’re quite the glutton, aren’t you? You’ve taken every last Bloodshade Fruit from the Dark Woods. How will they survive now?

The Larvikite Dragon raised its head proudly, flicking its tail with defiance. Its eyes sparkled with an air of royalty, as if saying, “I’m the king of the exotic beasts; of course I’m taking everything. It’s the privilege of royalty.”

At last, they emerged from the Dark Woods.

Ahead of them lay a dry, lifeless river, its black waters giving off a putrid stench.

There wasn’t a single tree or plant along its banks.

The cracked ground, scorched by the sun, revealed how barren this area truly was.

For miles around, the land stretched empty and lifeless, with no sign of human habitation.

Daphne spoke in a hushed tone. “Mr. Ramsey, is this the Netheris Domain?”

Robin nodded, distractedly glancing at Daphne and then down at his own tattered clothes.

His garments were in tatters, barely holding together, exposing large parts of his body

We need to find a marketplace, get some new clothes, and maybe grab something to eat. Robin safd We’ll also need to ask for directions to Netheris.

After nibbling on a few of the Bloodshade Fruits to curb their hunger, they walked for another hour eventually arriving at a small marketplace. noveldrama

The style of clothing and the layout of the market reminded Robin of Earth’s ancient civilizations from thousands of years ago.

Once at the marketplace, Robin realized they had no money in this world.

How would they buy anything without any currency?

Their disheveled appearance drew stares, as if they were strange creatures.

Daphne, in particular, felt embarrassed, as her clothes barely covered her.

Robin took off his only jacket and draped it over her shoulders, leaving himself with just a simple T–shirt.

Their ragged look quickly drew curious glances.

Fortunately, it seemed the language was at least somewhat understandable.

Daphne quietly said, “Mr. Ramsey, we need to figure out a way to get some money. Otherwise, we won’t survive here in the Netheris Domain.”

They overheard a street vendor mentioning they were in the city of Rosha, specifically in Gyro City. Gyro City had everything–banks, tea houses, inns–everything needed for daily life.

Following the vendor’s directions, Robin and Daphne made their way toward the castle.

Gyro Castle, with its ancient design, resembled Draconia’s castle from centuries ago.

To avoid drawing attention from the guards, they blended in with a group of men being conscripted as laborers.

As they entered Gyro Castle, more and more people appeared inside.

“Mr. Ramsey, should I go to the bank and get some money?” Daphne asked, pointing toward a nearby building.

Robin hesitated, then smirked. “What? Are you planning to start a business here, open a company?”

Daphne nodded, though not very convincingly. “It’s not a perfect plan, but I need some startup capital.”

Robin rolled his eyes. “Looks like that’s our only option. Let’s get some money and then figure out what to do next.”

Just as Daphne was about to head to the bank, Robin stopped her.

“Wait!”

They both turned toward the loud voice coming from a stage nearby.

Starting bid at fifty thousand for standard Bloodshade Fruit from the Dark Woods!”

The crowd began shouting out bids.

I bid 100,000!”

“I bid 200,000!”

Robin grinned. “Now we don’t have to worry about money.”

He pointed to the firebird emerald pendant. “With just this, we could buy all of Netheris!”
