Chapter 515 The Clash at Red Shift
"Sorry about that; I didn't mean to bump into you. Are you okay?" Sawyer said with a smile.
His smile was known for its irresistible allure in Saeville's circles, often referred to as a "gentle knife" for its unique ability to be both captivating and cutting.
The girls immediately blushed. The boldest among them, the one with gray hair, looked up at Sawyer with a smile and said, "You're so handsome. Can I have your phone number?"
Sawyer's smile was slightly superficial, never quite reaching his eyes. Despite this, it was enough to make the girls swoon and lose their composure.
"Of course, here's my number. By the way, I noticed you're all quite pretty. I'd like to invite you all to a meal as an apology for bumping into you earlier," Sawyer said.
The girls were ecstatic, barely able to contain their excitement. They had never encountered someone as handsome, especially one who was into motorcycles and spoke so gracefully.
The prospect of being treated at Red Shift was exhilarating, and they felt as though they were on the verge of entering high society. Two of the girls even patted their chests in excitement, overwhelmed by the prospect of a dreamlike evening.
The gray-haired girl, eager to confirm the details, asked, "It's a deal! What time should we meet at Red Shift?"
Sawyer replied with a grin, “Let's meet at six o'clock in the evening at the entrance of Red Shift. I'll arrange for someone to let you in. Feel free to enjoy yourselves and charge everything to me."
"That sounds amazing! What's your name?"
The gray-haired girl was clearly interested in Sawyer, and the other girls, not wanting to be left behind, eagerly clamored to get his phone number.
Sawyer casually gave out a number, one belonging to a tech-savvy friend of his. He handed it to the girls and then walked out confidently.
Once outside, Sawyer approached his motorcycle and made a phone call to his assistant.
"There will be a few girls coming to Red Shift at six tonight. Just make sure they get in, and you don't need to worry about anything else. They'll manage on their own and leave afterward," Sawyer instructed.
The assistant, hearing that Sawyer was again bringing girls to a nightclub, shook his head internally. He hadn't anticipated that this time it would be six girls. Would Mr. Sawyer be able to manage?
"Mr. Sawyer, should I cover the expenses for these girls? I recall your previous standard was ten to twenty thousand per person for the night. For six girls, that would be between sixty thousand and a hundred thousand," the assistant asked cautiously.
Sawyer scolded, "Idiot, do you think my money grows on trees? Don't you understand? I want you to get those girls inside and then stay as far away as possible."noveldrama
The assistant understood immediately. Mr. Sawyer planned to deal with these six girls, though it was unclear what had prompted this reaction.
"I'll handle it as you instructed. Goodbye, Mr. Sawyer," the assistant replied before ending the call.
Sawyer hung up and walked over to Mandy's car. Mandy looked at him with a smile and asked, "Mr. Sawyer, are you very busy?"
Sawyer smiled gently, "Not too busy. It's okay to have some fun for a while."
He bent down to look at Mason, who was sitting in the back seat of the car, and said, "Mason, remember to come with me for a motorcycle ride tomorrow morning. I'll call you then, and don't be late!"
After the brief incident, Freya and the others felt that continuing their outing was no longer interesting. Mandy dropped Freya and her brother off at home.
Freya felt a bit tired, and after spending some time playing with her cat and dog, she and her brother went to bed.
They had stayed up late the night before, talking and resolving thei issues, which left them feeling more exhausted than usual. They had worked through their concerns and felt closer than before.
In the evening, Red Shift nightclub began to fill up with guests. Before long, a
heated argument erupted at the bar.
The six fashionable girls, dressed in somewhat revealing outfits, were surrounded by a group of security guards.
One of the security guards had a particularly loud voice, shouting, "If you don't have money, then don't come here!"
The girls were visibly anxious, their excitement turning into confusion as they faced the harsh reality of the situation.
The opulent environment of Red Shift, coupled with the intimidation from the security guards, contrasted sharply with their earlier anticipation.
What do you think?
