Vengeful Hearts Return Novel by Susan Clyde

Chapter 151

After winning live rounds in a row, Cade was in an exceptionally good mood. He took screenshots of the five games results and posted them on Instagram.

“Mom doesn’t have to worry about my rank anymore, he said. “I love my idol”

As soon as Cade posted the screenshots on Instagram, there were a bunch of likes and comments.

Shawn: [You love your idol. Have you asked your mom if she agrees? Be careful or she will beat you up!]

Wolfy Johnny: [Cade, you’re really something. You even dare to challenge Dylan’s dignity. Be careful or you’ll lose a layer of skinl

Cade: [Nope. Dylan never checks Instagram, so he won’t see my post]

Just as Cade was certain that Dylan would not check Instagram and was feeling smug, a comment from Feranger suddenly appeared below.

Feranger: [I saw it!]

Once Dylan replied, the others stopped commenting, not daring to type further.

As soon as Cade saw the reply, he was so frightened that his face turned pale. He suddenly thought of the 100 million dollars that had been taken away.

He waited in fear for a long time, but there was no message from Dylan. He finally heaved a sigh of relief.

After Dylan commented on Cade’s Instagram post, he immediately sent a message to Audrey. (You haven’t replied to my messages. Are you playing games with Cade?)

Upon sending the message, Dylan waited for a long time, but there was no reply from Audrey. His overall demeanor could not help but grow colder. His cold and thin lips were tightly pursed, and his eyes turned cold.

“Mr. Clifford, she has been brought here.”

Richard knocked on the car window, which was then wound down to show a crack, revealing Dylan’s deep and cold gaze.

After Dylan got out of the car, he looked coldly at the wornan kneeling on the ground.

Her hands and feet were broken, and she was kneeling on the ground with disheveled hair and a dirty appearance. Her face was bruised and swollen. Her messy and tattered clothes had been torn into rags, barely covering important parts of her body.

The exposed skin was also bruised with numerous marks from being whipped by a belt. It was stained with blood.

She was in an indescribably sorry state.

Only her eyes, when they met with Dylan’s, were filled with terror and fear.

Dylan walked forward. His dark and cold gaze landed on Sarah’s face. His usually distinguished and handsome face was now filled with a bloodthirsty sense of menace as he stared coldly at Sarah, who was on the ground.

“Tell me,” Dylan said. “Who got you out of the hospital?”

His voice was deep and cold, making Sarah tremble involuntarily.

“I don’t know,” Sarah said. “I don’t know anything??

Sarah’s eyes were bloodshot as she looked at Dylan, whom she used to admire, staring at her coldly. She felt a sharp pain in her heart.

Dylan narrowed his eyes. The depths of his cold eyes were filled with ruthlessness.

His thin lips parted slightly as he said coldly, “Richard, break her fingers one by one!”

As soon as Dylan finished speaking, Sarah suddenly looked up at Dylan and shook her head in horror, saying, “No, please don’t…

Upon receiving Dylan’s order, Richard gave his subordinate, who was carrying Sarah, a look that signaled a message.

In the next moment, Sarah’s shrill and miserable scream could be heard. It was heart–wrenching.

The expression on Dylan’s face was still coll. He glanced at Sarah indifferently with his deep black eyes. His thin lips were slightly pursed as he coldly looked at Sarah’s painful and ferocious expression.

“Dylan, you’re a devil. You devil, let go of me. Ah…”

Sarah cried out in pain, but Dylan still had no intention of calling it off.

His eyes were cold and indifferent, as if the person in pain and screaming was just an unimportant stranger.

He said, “You have to know that the pain you are suffering now is not even a tenth of what Audrey suffered back then, so you should be glad that she’s still alive!”

‘Otherwise, what awaits Sarah would be flaying, he thought.

Sarah trembled violently. Looking at the devil–like Dylan, her body kept recoiling.

However, her hands and legs had been crippled. She was also being pressed down, so she could not move at all.

“No, it has nothing to do with me. You can’t do this to me. You can’t. Let me go. Let me go!”

Sarah was trembling in fear, nearly wetting herself from being frightened by the aura that Dylan emanated.

“Richard, pull her nails off piece by piece. Stop only when she’s willing to talk!”

Upon hearing Dylan’s words, Sarah suddenly raised her head and shouted in fear, “No, no, I’ll tell you. I’ll tell you everything!”

Sarah shook her head in fear when she thought of the pain of having her fingers broken.

Dylan narrowed his eyes, looking at her.

Sarah was truly frightened by Dylan’s torture. She said with a trembling voice, “I don’t know who that person is. I only know that someone threw a note at me, telling me to find a way out. As long as I got out, he would have a way to let me escape.”

Fearing that Dylan would not believe her, Sarah desperately explained, “I really don’t know who that person is. That person only told me that Audrey killed my mother!”

“Who made you testify seven years ago then?” Dylan asked coldly, his cold and deep eyes filled with a ruthless sense of menace.

The intense menace that he radiated scared Sarah so much that she ended up wetting herself.

“I don’t know. All I know is that the person is a woman. I don’t know anything else. That woman suddenly called me and asked. me to testify. I really don’t know anything else.”

Sarah cried out as she spoke.

Dylan glanced at Sarah, who was on the ground like an ant, and said, “Find out if her words are true.”

Richard nodded and replied respectfully. Then, he glanced at Surah, who had wetted herself on the ground.

“What about her then?” he asked. This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.

A hint of menace flashed across Dylan’s cold eyes. “Letting her die immediately would be going easy on her. I want her to pay back tenfold or a hundredfold for what Audrey suffered back then!”

“Understood.” Richard replied respectfully.

With that said, Dylan turned around coldly and left.

Sarah’s painful and frightened voice came from behind. “No, please don’t. Mm. Someone immediately covered her mouth. Her face was covered in tears of fear as she shook her head desperately.

Dylan returned to the car. His aura became even colder and more sinister.

A short while later, he took his phone and glanced at it. There was still no reply from Audrey.

Pursing his lips, his aura became colder and colder. Then, he opened the Instagram post Cade had shared.

He tapped on the screenshots, and a dark glint flashed across his dark eyes. Then, he turned off his phone and said, “Go to the Holland residence!”

Audrey came out of the bathroom after taking a shower, She had long forgotten about the messages Dylan had sent her earlier.

Just as she finished blow–drying her hair, the phone she had set aside started ringing.

She glanced at the caller ID and immediately answered the call.

On the other end of the line, Troy’s voice sounded a little hurried and excited.

“I’ve found some information about your mom,” he said. “Although I can’t be certain yet, the news that she’s alive is very likely true!”

Upon hearing Troy’s words, Audrey frowned and asked in a serious voice, “Where did you find out?”
