Causing Unnecessary Drama
Amelia watched as Alexander walked towards her.
“I have to attend a ball this evening and you’re coming with me,” Alexander said and Amelia only nodded a bit.
“Wait, what?? I’m going to a ball with you?? It’s only noon and you’re leaving the office already?? You haven’t even done anything much today, I don’t agree!” Amelia said as she looked up at Alexander.
Alexander stared at her for a while “You suddenly start to nag more than my mom”
“I’m not nagging at you, just….”Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.
“Let’s go…” Alexander held her arm and dragged her out of the office.
When they came out, Amelia withdrew her arm from Alexander’s grip.
They both walked out of the office silently headed downstairs and went into the car.
Along the way, Amelia just fiddled with her nails while Alexander worked with his laptop.
“Amy..” Alexander suddenly called out and Amelia turned towards him with raised brows.
“Sir..” Amelia responded and Alex flashed her a displeased look
“Drop the formalities, we’re not at the office”
“But it’s still working hours and besides, the ball is also part of an official duty,” Amelia said as a matter of fact and Alexander dropped his laptop.
“This is not part of an official duty… I’m taking you to the hall as not just my partner but also my wife. What’s wrong with a husband taking his wife to a party??” Alexander asked nonchalantly as he leaned onto Amelia with a flirty grin on his lip.
Amelia looked at him as she roamed her eyes on his face “What’s gotten into you lately?? You now act weird, get your ugly face off my face!” Amelia hushed him and used her finger to push his forehead.
Alexander pouted slowly as he watched Amelia poke his forehead, what was he even turning to?
Amelia eyed Alex and he immediately recomposed himself and sat back with a clear expression.
Amelia sighed in relief that he had finally come back to his real self.
“At the ball today, Don’t go roaming about, It’s not a simple ball party,” Alexander said before turning to look at Amelia.
“Not a simple ball?? What’s up with it?” Amelia asked immediately intrigued as she leaned on Alexander’s side a bit.
“It’s a ball held by a mafia, Mr whacker is a very shrewd and dangerous man and as well very cunning, I also found out that, My mortal enemy will be coming as well,” Alexander said seriously not wanting to take chances.
“I don’t think Mr whacker is an ally, if he was, he wouldn’t invite someone that is your foe to his party” Amelia reasoned and Alexander smirked a bit.
“Mr whacker is neither on my side nor on My enemy’s side,” Alexander said “he’s one of the founding founders of Mafia gangs in Europe, he’s almost on par with my dad” Alexander analyzed and Amelia immediately understood.
Then, Mr whacker isn’t harmful or Helpful.
“Be well of A man named Knight Cyrus! He’s so sly and approachable” Alexander said before frowning slightly and pointing at Amelia “Don’t go around letting men talk to you, there’ll be a lot of them at the ball”
Amelia rolled her eyes at Him “I’m not as spoilt rotten as you are” Amelia defended herself.
“I’m just saying that because you magnet troubles wherever you go, it’s you, not me,” Alexander said and Amelia didn’t have anything to say to him and just faced the window with a:
“Whatever!”
Soon the car arrived at the Mall and the driver parked the car at the garage and Amelia immediately got down.
Soon enough, A man in a suit rushed towards her along with a few female staff.
Amelia wanted to run away but she still stood there, wanting to hear them out.
“Mrs. Ron welcome to our Mall..” Gesturing to the female staff, the man said “They will be your guide today”
Amelia only nodded.
What an extravagant life!
Soon, Alexander got down from the car held Amelia’s waist, and led her towards the mall.
Amelia was so stiff as she felt his hands roamed around her waist.
“Could you keep your hand in one spot??” Amelia couldn’t help but whisper to Alexander and he just smirked and held her waist more firmly and pressed hard on it and Amelia almost let out a ‘Goodness Gracious’
After getting to the mall, Alexander sat in the dressing room, operating on his phone.
Amelia let the staff take her to the rows of Clothes, they were of different brands and styles.
“Ma’am This dress was newly imported from Singapore, it’s a new brand from Channel, and the color compliments your fair skin” A staff brought out a Red Dress that had a slit.
Amelia sure had a weird taste for clothes so she had a hard time choosing the ones she liked.
She always had one complaint about the clothes or another but the staff remained patient with her as she was an important person and the wife of a respected Man.
They had seen and been with people who are very picky but at least, Amelia didn’t stress them as she’ll just say she didn’t like the clothes instead of badmouthing them.
Amelia was walking along the rows with the staff when a voice called out from the back.
“Ah speak of the devil, what a coincidence” A voice came from the back and Amelia didn’t need a soothsayer to tell her that this person was Jolie.
Amelia turned to face Jolie with a nonchalant smile on her face.
“Yeah, such an unfortunate coincidence,” Amelia said as she gave the black dress with her to one of the staff.
Jolie snarled at Amelia “Unfortunately huh? Scared that I’d reveal your financial status?? Even if you’re married to Alexander Ron, you’re still nothing to him, just a material to roam around in his compound, tell me, what cheap clothes have you come to buy?? Maybe I can as well pay for you” Jolie said while fluttering her bank card between her fingers.
Amelia had a profound smile on without wavering or crying because she was sold to Alex or felt humiliated.
“I seriously like your strong will…” Amelia said slowly as she crossed both hands on her chest.
“Oh…” Jolie scoffed at Amelia in contempt.
“Yeah, cause if I were in your shoes, I mean if I was to be the one evicted from the socialite winning awards, I would have probably be indoors, not leeching around to cause unnecessary drama,” Amelia said lazily with that smile on and Jolie’s face immediately flushed.
The staff looked at Jolie with even more disdain, coming to cause trouble for their VIP.
“You- even if it’s just an eviction, it’s not the end of the world and besides, I still have more cash than you do, you’re nothing compared to me, “Jolie said.
“I bet you can’t even afford that dress!”
