Feed your hands to the dogs for lunch
“Please madam, don’t cause trouble here!” A staff said and Jolie immediately glared at her
“And who the hell are you?? I’m a regular here and I have a membership card, one word of complaint from me about you, you’re doomed” Jolie threatened and the staff had a dreaded look on as she struck backward.
“What? Scared??” Jolie snorted before facing the others.
“If you know better, you’ll leave this leech and come take my orders,” Jolie said
“Jolie, I’d advise you to stop fooling around” Amelia was already fed up with Jolie’s immaturity.
Jolie snorted at her”Staff, I want that dress with her”
Amelia frowned deeply, that was the black dress she had chosen for the ball.
“You dare” Amelia groaned at Jolie and Jolie felt funny
“You can’t afford it, then let those who can buy it, have it, still wanna save your pride by making the mall experience a lose,” Jolie said and made her way to collect the dress when a staff blocked her way.
“The dress has already being chosen, madam just choose something else,” The staff said respectfully and Jolie got so angry.
“Where’s the manager, go get him here, I want to speak with him”
The man who had come to get Amelia at the garage was the supervisor and the manager was a man who liked to flirt with The female staff so they were reluctant to call him over.
Just then, the manager came to the scene “What’s going on here?? Are you girls so incompetent to deal with customers” the manager barked at the staff
“Is this how your mall works?? Letting all manner of people in??” Jolie immediately faced the manager who was in his late 40s
“Ah Miss Robertson, please don’t get angry at my staff, just tell me what you want..” the manager turned to the staff “Quickly, apologize to her, don’t you know she spends at least $2000 in our mall at the end of the month?? Quickly apologize” The manager urged the staff and Jolie buffed out her chest in pride.
“I don’t want their apologies, I want that woman out of here, she is a pauper and can’t afford that dress, I want that dress,” Jolie said pointing at Amelia, and that attracted some people in the mall.
“I don’t know why people get the cheek to come to such an expensive mall without having the funds to pay their bills”
“She should just give the dress to who can afford it”
“So stupid of her to over-rate herself” Mockery came from the crowds and Jolie was delighted that they were on her side.
Amelia didn’t care about their talks as she faced the manager “I liked the dress and took it first”
The manager just couldn’t afford to lose a big customer like Jolie for a small customer and on top of that, she happens to be unable to pay for the dress.
“Madam, just hand over the clothes to Miss Jolie and go look for something cheaper that you can afford,” the manager said with utter disgust in his eyes.
The ladies amongst the crowd were all whispering amongst themselves but their voices were loud enough for Amelia to hear them.
“Whose daughter is this?? So shameful!”
“There’s nothing cheap in this mall, I’d advise she go get a dress from the roadsides, here’s not for people of her low class”
Amelia glanced at the manager with a cold gaze and the staff wanted to speak up for Amelia
“Sir… she came..” Doris tried to explain
“Shut up! Do you want to go against me?? Then fine, you’re fired!” The manager said and the staff named, Doris immediately shook vigorously in fright.
Amelia looked at Doris with a comforting smile and Doris was caught in a web of believing or disbelieving Amelia.
“What if I can afford the dress” Amelia asked as she took the dress from the staff. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
“Don’t be so ridiculous, this cost fifty thousand dollars, you can’t afford that so stop embarrassing yourself and just get lost” Jolie said with contempt, wanting to mislead the crowd’s minds.
The manager was so annoyed at Amelia “What means are you gonna pay up??”
Amelia didn’t have her card with her but she wasn’t at all panicked as she said slowly “I don’t have any cash on me and my bank card.. I left it at the office”
The manager held his forehead in frustration as a resounding laugh came from the crowd.
Jolie shook her head as she immediately felt proud, any opportunity to ridicule Amelia, she was gonna use it to the fullest.
“What does she think this mall is?? A charity home for the less privileged?? Haha,” a woman said from the crowd and other people laughed along with her.
“Came to buy clothes empty-handed, who was she waiting for to help pay up?? An angel from heaven?”
“If I was in her shoes, I’d just bow and run out of the mall in embarrassment”
“Surprising enough, she’s just standing there like a statue without the least shame on her face, I envy how shameless she can be Tsk. tsk”
The staff with Amelia looked at her, if they hadn’t seen Her with Mr. Ron earlier, they would have doubted her but they didn’t as they stood there.
The manager immediately beckoned for the security men around “Get her out of here, you’re such a nuisance” the manager said as he barked at Amelia
Amelia stood there unfazed as she looked at the manager “Are you sure you aren’t making any mistakes??..” pointing at Jolie, Amelia said “She should be the one to leave and not me”
Jolie walked towards Amelia and was about to give her a hard slap on the cheek when Amelia held her wrist with bloodshot eyes.
“You dare! In your entire life, if you ever raise your hands to my face, I’ll make sure to feed that hand to the dogs for lunch” Amelia said and tightened the pressure on Jolie’s wrist.
Jolie winced in pain as her eyes reddened “You’re such a bully, Amelia, just let go of my hands”
The crowd’s hatred for Amelia grew as they watched on, some even wished to come up and beat Amelia.
“Such a big bully”
“Truly, a poor man is an angry man”
“She’s not only a liar, a fraud and a broke ass but also a bully, Mannerless. Hmph”
Jolie felt that it was worth it for Amelia to grab her hands, it’s not going to kill but Amelia ends up gaining a stained reputation.
Please hold onto it more! Jolie thought with a hidden smile but still maintained a pained expression.
People began to curse at Amelia but she didn’t give a damn and twisted Jolie’s wrist and it immediately dislocated and Jolie let out an anguish Cry.
This was so painful for Jolie who had never lifted a bucket, it was like dying from a fire.
