Chapter 2540
Everyone held their thumbs up at that. "Take a good look. Now that's a person who actually knows what it means to rear dogs. You really pale in comparison, Crewcut!"
"What's it to you?!" the burly man bellowed. "Mind your own business, or I'll butcher every last one of you!"
That only left everyone else infuriated.
"Threatening people at the drop of a hat? Did you think we're all pushovers? Come on, do it-we're not afraid!"
Crewcut quickly realized that there was no beating the mob and ignored them as he turned back to Frank. "I won't ask for more, kid. Apologize to my dog and pay for its vet fee, or I'll make you!"
"Pay you? Apologize?" Frank smirked. "You actually have the cheek to ask? In fact, not only am I refusing, but I'm demanding you pay us for causing mental distress. Refuse, and you'll see what happens next!"
"Really?" Crewcut laughed. "Let me be frank-I'm no one's bitch! Kill him, boy!"
At his order, his large dog lunged at Frank, but he did not flinch as he kicked the dog again, sending it flying and leaving it inches from death!
Everyone only applauded.
"Well, you tried. Now you understand that you can't mess with him, don't you?" "The man was already being nice. We would've killed it with the first kick already!" Furious, Crewcut shrieked, "How dare you! I'll kill you!"
He charged at Frank maniacally but never stood a chance as Frank floored him with a kick, and he could not get up just like his dog!
Dropping to a crouch in front of Crewcut, Frank snapped coolly, "Remember— dogs will always be dogs, and they aren't worth a human life! I won't take any issue if you keep your dog in line, but if you don't, it's up to you to take responsibility as its owner!"
With that, he kicked him viciously, knocking him out.
He smirked, not bothered by the issue and continued to enjoy the view.
Alda, however, was still fuming. "If you weren't strong enough for him, who knows what he would've done!"
Frank nodded. "There are too many of his sort these days. We can only handle each of them as we encounter them!"
In the afternoon, they started down the mountain, resting at the halfway point as they got tired.
Suddenly, several dogs charaged viciously at them, but Frank reacted instantly, punching each out unconscious.
Crewcut, who had arrived just after the dogs, was shocked.
How did that plain-looking brat get so much strength, beating that many dogs?!
Still, he knew he was not going to win and turned to run, only to find himself staring at Frank, smirking.
"It's almost amazing how petty you are!" Frank growled coolly.
Despite being unable to run, the Crewcut refused to lose and

Frank was at once amused. "Or what? Do you have friends in high places?"

Frank simply laughed. "Now you're just being ridiculous. What good is money if there's no one to

What do you think?
