The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Crewcut snorted at Frank. "You sure talk big. Are you really that rich?"

"Not really, but he's definitely richer than you are!" Alda snapped back, retorting as Crewcut was clearly belittling Frank and because she had caused this argument in the first place.

"What, just because you said so?" Crewcut snorted, clearly not thinking highly of them.

"I really wouldn't have bothered, but I'm in a good mood, so I can teach you the meaning of the pecking order!"

And with those words, Alda whipped out a black card. "I'm sure you'd at least recognize this?"noveldrama

Crewcut certainly did but snorted stubbornly, refusing to admit defeat. "It's just a debit card painted black. I can do that too!"

Alda smiled and nodded. "Guess words don't work with you. Let's speak with our fists instead."

Frank nodded. "Slap yourself. You can leave when your teeth fall aloof."

"Don't push it, brat!" Crewcut snapped, but he was already feeling nervous.

Frank sighed truth be told, he had been plenty merciful and always afforded people like Crewcut chances.

However, they did not see the gap between themselves and Frank, even thinking that they were righteous.

"I guess you really wanted this." He chuckled and slapped Crewcut across the face, knocking him out.

"So? What do we do with this mess?" Meg was at once interested.

Frank chuckled. "Forget it. I'm no dog lover, but dog meat really isn't as nice as they make it sound. Don't get yourself sick!"

Meg shrugged and nodded.

Back at the cottage, Rina was taking a stroll to help her digestion, since she was still feeling bloated from food despite her nap.

"Oh, hey, pretty lady!"

A man in red hair approached her, teasing her at once.

Rina rolled her eyes at him, but Redhead took it as a sign of approval and went up to her. "Don't look at my getup-I'm actually rich. Why don't we be friends? Don't worry either, I'm not the clingy type. Let's have some fun, and then we can go our separate ways!"

Rina flushed and snapped, "Get away from me, scum!"

"Well said! I'm scum-let me show you why!"

Seemingly used to it, Redhead was ready to get physical when a dainty figure appeared and snapped, "What are you doing?"

Both Rina and Redhead turned to see a tall lady in a cropped top.

Since she was dressed casually, no one could tell that she was Drunken Moon, the local priestess.

Rina was lucky that she had just happened to be leaving the mountain to visit Frank. While she had never met Rina before, she could tell that she was with Frank

and came to defend her.

Redhead was at once excited. "Oh, my! To think that there's a beauty like you around these parts... How rare!"

After all, Drunken Moon far eclipsed

Rina in beauty and her accent was clearly local. Redhead thought it was actually a loss that he had never met her before.

"Stop running your mouth," Drunken Moon snapped nonetheless. "Leave right

now, or I'll make you!"
