The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

As the defining silence fills the house, Alexandra advances towards the pictures on the wall and imagines her portrait decorating one of the walls, a smile creeps on her face for a moment but quickly fades away as Olivia walks in through the entrance door with a lot of shopping bags.

Dropping the bags down on the table plops down on the couch glancing at Alexandra.

"I need water"

Locking eyes with her, Alexandra smiles but it didn't reach her eyes.

"Are you talking to me?"

"Yes," Olivia wipes the sweat off her forehead.

"Is either you've lost it Olivia or you forgot your brain on your way into the house"

"What? What is wrong with you?"

"I'm exhausted and dehydrated"

Olivia glares at her, grabbing one of the bags attempts to throw it at Alexandra but on a second thought stops herself.

Folding her arms, Alexandra stares deep into her eyes. "And so? Did I send you to the mall? Did you get anything for me? Why should I serve you when I didn't send you anywhere"

"You're unbelievable" Olivia scoffs, standing up and stomping her feet towards the kitchen, Alexandra catches a glimpse of her shoes, and her eyes widen seeing it was the same pair of shoes Nathaniel had given to her at the inn.

"Damn those shoes, I hate them" she averts her eyes towards Veronica's portrait, a lot of things run through her mind.

"Nathaniel where are you?" She bites her lower lips, massaging her temples gently, lost in thoughts.

Olivia walks back in. "A penny for your thoughts"

"Go to hell Olivia" Alexandra turns around meeting her gaze.

"You are so annoying Alexandra, even when I'm trying to be nice, you still try to be arrogant"

"Look who is talking. Kettle calling pot black, aren't you a hypocrite?"

"I beg your pardon"

"If Satan is to come back and ask God for the will to be part of his kingdom, do you think he will accept?"

Olivia scoffs, confused. "In other words, who is the devil?"

"Do you have to ask, isn't it obvious that you are"

"Fine whatever, just trying to be nice"

"If you say so" She forces a smile, reclining back to her seat, holds one of the

bags, taking out a pair of designer shoes.

"Look at this baby, isn't it beautiful?"

"I like the one in your leg better" Alexandra moves closer to her, and a

mischievous smile plays on her lips.

Throwing a weird look at Alexandra, Olivia drops her gaze looking at the shoes on her legs.

"You love these?"

"Yes it rocks"

"Really? Thanks, it was a gift -"

"From Adam" Alexandra shoots sharply. "I know he bought it for a lot of bitches so

it became very popular"

"I beg your pardon"

"You don't have to be ashamed"

"You just know how to ruin my mood, Alexandra"

Olivia stands up, flipping her hair. "And so? Even if he did, what's it to you" "Nothing, just curious"

Bursting into laughter, Alexandra exhales, running her hand through her hair, she had not expected Olivia to be so blind, she thought everyone was head over heels for Adams the way she was.

"Why would I be jealous?"

"Who is Adam to me? No. Who is Adam that I should be jealous of both of you?"

"He's an Alpha who you want to have your attention but he is not giving it to you and so you are jealous"

Applauding her hand, Alexandra smiles. "This proves the height of craziness and also proves that the rumors about you and Adam are true"

Olivia runs her hand through her hair, enraged. "So this is a test"

"So what did you get by testing this?" She yells aloud.

"Curiosity. When someone is curious about things he shouldn't be, it gets them killed so except you want to be like that cat, keep your curiosity in place or else you won't have legs to keep wearing those designer shoes of yours" Alexandra smiles sinisterly creeping Olivia out

"A little but we can see how crazy I can be" she laughs sinisterly and Olivia begins

to gather her bags.

"Where are you going? Don't tell me you're leaving me"

"Go to hell"

"I'll be sure to drag you with me"

"You're annoying, creepy and most of all insane"

"You just described yourself" Alexandra smirks gazing into her eyes firmly and

unblinking.

"I wonder what Nathaniel saw in you"

"You should ask him but then again I wonder what Adam saw in you"

Olivia groans frustrated. "Will you just shut up Alexandra"
